Thank you that was a great explanation I just recently had my 2nd knee replacement and my surgeon wants his patients in physical therapy within 2 days after surgery and that scar massage hurts very bad and I didn't know why it had to be done now I do I just know that it's very painful

After just having had a knee replacement, thank you so much for this great tutorial! I had no idea about how massaging this scar tissue can help in restoring full knee movement. One question, though. If I wait too long to perform this procedure, will it no longer work in regaining my knee flexibility again??

Very informative but my 5 week old knee replacement scar is painful. Show us on a real patient not a line drawn on someone’s leg

I am a real patient there. 6 wks out. Part of the therapy includes this and what I can only call deep tissue massage. What is shown here does loosen up the knee range of motion. Also seems to aid circulation. I do it at home. It has helped. 🙂

This is just superb, I been tryin to find out about "is vibration good for arthritis?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Ieyameron Unexpected Improvement - (search on google ) ? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for discovering how to end your mind-numbing knee pain without the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my work buddy got great results with it.

Patient at OSC Newport News Physical Therapy. Wonderful place to go. I can attest to this kind of massage loosening tightness around scar and seems to improve circulation. Hope that helps. 🙂
