Excellent video. One small note - you can actually change raw formats from camera app - just press on raw format and 4 choices will appear on top menu.
The 3 choices presented of the 4 available are based on your default format - high efficiency or most compatible. If you choose high efficiency, the choices are HEIF Max, Raw 12 or Raw Max - if you choose most compatible, the choices are JPG Max, Raw 12 or Raw Max.
I notice that they remove the night mode in portrait mode using front camera in 15 promax . I was a bit shock at first becoz 13 promax have this and also in the cinematic mode I it can’t use his telephoto and the color grading doesn’t look cinematic .
Great video, very informative. Do know if you can still use apples wired headphones as a remote shutter release. On the older phones with lightning you could use the headphone volume button to activate shutter. Very useful for steady shooting
I stay in South Africa and I have a 15 pro max titanium and my Live Photos does not have the menu of transforming it to portrait it is also missing a little details that you have and I don't, should I be worried?
Is there a setting where I can turn “live photo” into “portrait photo”? Bc, in my photo album, I can’t find the portrait mode when I captured live using my iphone 15 pro max
You could actually make portrait photos out of anything you have to just tap to focus. I wish Apple would add the option to lock focus even while moving though, because if you move slightly the whole thing blur. What they could do is maybe single tap for lock focus and exposure like normal and double tap for focal tracking where it would track object. It comes in handy with things that constantly moves like kids, pets and plants in the wind.

is it true that selfie camera in 15pro max and generally the 15series is not showing the selfies vivid,vibrant and realistic, but it kinda messes up with the colors and makes them like grey-ish? any 15 pro max users' opinions?

In my 15 pro max iphone every time i go close to an object taking a portrait it becomes blurry! Even the normal photo inside the house only is not clear and is not with good quality compared to the versions before and doesn't blur in close picture (photo mode)! I can zoom to 1.9x on my 15 pro and get 24 megapixels but when I go 2x is is 12. There is no reason why 2x can't be 24 megapixels since that i half of 48. They gave that to the regular phone but the Pro. Come on Apple

For us new iPhone users, you might want to tell your audience to open up the camera app prior to the point where you first open it in the video.

Hey ive tried taking pictures with pro raw but a lot of times it shows the mp of the photo at 36 mp instead of 48, is there a reason for that?
Could have something to do with the aspect ratio of the photo.
