Just got my bottle this week, bought it on a whim and thought I would try it. For context ( 48 year old female, peri menopause symptoms, overweight due to accident,low energy levels, my only exercise is my job, and cleaning,laundry cooking for my household I’ve been eating a better balanced diet for last 2 months) BUT, when I took my first drink out of my Hydrogen water bottle I felt better, … is it just placebo effect, excitement, don’t know. Got a well rested sleep the first night, got up with a better positive feeling about myself, felt less tired and bloated the past few days( this is my 3 morning only drinking hydrogen water) and I just ordered 6 more for family members just bc I feel a difference in my body. So not sure what’s going on, BUT if hydrogen water is helping me feel better in such a short period of time, it’s was a very cheap purchase that giving me motivation.
Please take notice how he said it tastes electrified basically a metallic taste It's because the positive plate at the bottom of the bottle is exposed to the water creating ozone and chlorine, which you're not supposed to have. PLease make sure you buy models that have PEM technology in it.
I bought this model before I learned about SPE/PEM. However the electric taste experienced is likely because its brand new from the factory, and he did not rinse it twice with hot water, as stated in the chinese instruction manual. The company states that first times it can have factory taste. Also if the person use bought mineral water in bottles , its highly unlikely rhat it will get contaminated , compared to using tap water. I did not experience any foul smell, or taste. With that said , get a SPE / PEM bottle.
no wonder he got a electric/metal taste afterwards, because he put the lid on while hydrogenizing the water..the instructions on multiple models like this say to leave the top off while hydrogenizing the water..reason being is so that the appropriate gases can release during the process so that your water doesn't taste "electric"

I just got mine today. I bought it because it’s supposed to help make your body alkaline, which is way better for you. Cancer cells can not grow in an alkaline body. I will be using water from my Zero Water filter that I bought from Amazon. Hopefully, it will be easier for me to drink water

You need an ORP meter to see the benefits. I purchased one for my girlfriend (like yours) and got excellent results. The more negative the reading, the better it is for fighting free radicals in your body, which equals healthier living.

There are studies from many different countries and since 2008 so I doubt this has anything to do with a specific product. h2 related products begin to appear on the USA market just recently but many have been available in Japan for decades.

Technically it would be doing nothing to the water that remains in the bottle. The bubbles that float up are hydrogen that collects on the top (Which is really flammable) My understanding.

The hydrogen is made from the water the excess oxygen is vented externally the hydrogen is vented internally, depending on the size of the bubbles a certain amount is absorbed into the h20 , and depending on the amount of air left in the top and the pressure rating, water used , a certain amount of the gas will essentially get pushed into the water where it will bond . The bonds don't last long , a min or two . But you can definitely put a few ppm HH in water. It is flammable but really liters per min run torches . These things are probably 5-30 ml/m

When you put non-distilled water into one of these PEM devices, unless the cathode side oxygen is being ventilated out, you have the risk of generating toxic salts. All hydrogen generators are not the same. I learned all of this on the channel delvis1.

Everyone mentioning that you need to have a certified SPE/PEM-type generator is both right and wrong. As long as you're using purified water that doesn't contain chlorine, you're good to go. On the other hand, if you use direct tap water or any water that has contaminants such as chlorine, etc., and hasn't been run through a water purifier (e.g., a Zero water filter), you definitely want an SPE/PEM hydrogen water generator.
@@br4nman I renounce my previous statement. Even with purified water like ZeroWater that eliminates chlorine, it seems that a non-SPE PEM machine doesn't produce many bubbles. Adding salt to remineralize the water created bubbles, but the taste and smell of chlorine were pronounced, more so than in straight tap water.
So check it out, i have the exact same one but mine is red and i have found that if you swish the water around while its powered on and it seems to infuse the water more, try it and see what you think
First wash it then afterwords fill with water put the top back on just snuged turn bottle on by pressing the on button then the light should turn on you will see like bubbles going up when its done the light will go off take top off and ready to drink ok good luck u can go on u tube and check out the good benitfits that the hydrogen provides bottoms up now lol
@wendyfisk8718 I'm so sorry but I don't use the bottle anymore. I tested the water with pH strips a few weeks after this post and the results were the same. The water did not increase in alkalinity. So,I returned the bottle.
I’m on here as first charge my bottle exploded covered me in glass and water, very dangerous definitely needs clear instructions. I obviously did something wrong or was faulty bottle.

Bottle water is from water fountains. Pure. Tap water is from rivers that goes from filters plus added fluoride. Basically everything that goes down our drain, gets filtered and send back to us.
The version you got is a cheap chinese knockoff of the HYDRO bottle. Looks the same, on the outside. Minus the label. But the inside is different. Yours doesnt have the right PEM membrane and will put all that nasty ozone and chlorine up in your water. A real HYDRO bottle cost me 100 bucks. And came w english instructions.

Only difference is this guy didn't pay the inflated 200% increase that we paid. See the fizzing? Why does it not fizz when you use filtered water. I use a Zero Water Filtering system. The bottle does nothing with that clean water. She fizzes a bit with raw tap water. Chemically laden raw tap water.. Ionbottles will not respond to my inquiries about what I am seeing after 3 tries. I will make this same video demonstrating use with filtered water. It does not bubble at all. I do see large bubbles from filling trapped in the disc at the bottom. The grid. They are too big to release from the plastic grid.

The problem I have with this bottle is that it creates Chlorine and a little bit of ozone as waste product. You can actually smell it. Add baking soda to make it create more hydrogen
If the cathode side is properly vented on a PEM machine, then no chlorine or salts can be generated. On a PEM machine that doesn't have good venting, just use distilled water. The RUclips channel delvis1 explains this well.
I just got my 2 bottles from ion Bottles, first you shouldn't shutt it off it shutts it off automatically when is ready, second I didn't taste nothing weird (maybe because your bottle is from China? 🤣) and third the best thing is Made in the USA so the instructions are just in English not in ten different languages 🤣
You used this wrong you’re supposed to turn on the blue button. Leave it on until it turns red this thing will bubble 10 times more than what you just did. You basically just drank water from the bottle lol
I think you will find that is type that on other videos produces Chlorine. I had one with the same type of Element you have on yours. I returned it immediately. Those Generator elements are are to be avoided.
The reason for the metal taste may be metallic, they have to be using a platinum plated/silver plated electrode. I don’t know how safe this could be if they using an not 100% pure element if they cutting costs it could have bad consequences. Just put 2 drops of food craze hydrogen peroxide should achieve same result and might be safer as it’s done in a controlled environment. (I am not a medical expert)
I hope you like you still using this bottle when you're using them were updated versions that are PEM because the one you have creates ozone and chlorine into your water and that is really bad
The more hydrogen goes in your body the more healthy you will become .. people drink energy drinks to boost up energy in quick time which are way too dangerous for health but alternatively this hydrogen rich water will does the same thing with positive effects in your body

I got the same hydrogen bottle as yours with English instructions. For first time before use. Put a hot water with 50-60 celsuis in the bottle to charge. Repeat it Repeat the process twice. Then it’s ready to use.
No, the Hydrogen in water is not absorbable by the body. It has to be stripped from the Oxygen and the Helium broken into HH. Water H20 + electrolysis = HHO, 2/3 Hydrogen gas and 1/3 Oxygen gas.

you need to clean these things when you first get em. they are straight from the factory remeber. also the venders never said anything about PEM tech.

If this is Ayeah Chinese company it’s the best one I have bought, yes it has spe/pem protection.
Note it will not get a reaction with destilled water , it needs the minerals in the water to create the bubbles/electrolysis

I've heard you don't want an air gap for best results. Else the hydrogen separates into a gas at the top of the glass, and escapes when you open it.
You need to keep the lid close untill the lights go off then its done take top off then ready to drink bottoms up cheers to you lol

My machine recommended not using distilled water? My water does have a slight strange taste that i was curious about though.

The chlorine comes from salt in the water. Salt is sodium chloride which is sodium and chlorine.
Can you put cold or warm water in the bottle. Do you charge first?Also how do you know when the water is charged up?

2024 Update: I returned the Ion Bottles after testing it with pH straps. The results were disappointing. There was no change in the pH.

LevelUp makes Chlorine. I got headaches from it and changed it with the OCEMIDA brand

Only at a concentration greater than 4.7%. These machines generate Hydrogen at a lower level.

The reason for the metal taste may be metallic, they have to be using a platinum plated/silver plated electrode. I don’t know how safe this could be if they using an not 100% pure element if they cutting costs it could have bad consequences. Just put 2 drops of food craze hydrogen peroxide should achieve same result and might be safer as it’s done in a controlled environment.

I hope you like you still using this bottle when you're using them were updated versions that are PEM because the one you have creates ozone and chlorine into your water and that is really bad
what do you mean? water automatically has both of those in it and this is just adding unbound hydrogen into it
I see this an old video so things may have changed some but mine says to let it soak a few times. I don’t taste any metal or electric lol.
The more hydrogen goes in your body the more healthy you will become .. people drink energy drinks to boost up energy in quick time which are way too dangerous for health but alternatively this hydrogen rich water will does the same thing with positive effects in your body

I got the same hydrogen bottle as yours with English instructions. For first time before use. Put a hot water with 50-60 celsuis in the bottle to charge. Repeat it Repeat the process twice. Then it’s ready to use.
