She is receiving just consequences - she was fired and arrested. No use projecting that she could drive and kill an entire family. Not even sure she has a driver’s license. She needs help not shame. Shame on the police once again for shaming ill people. Stop providing space for self-righteous shamers!

We had a situation similar to this. Employee had all kinds of security clearance as our company was supplier to major defense contractor. He messed up his personal life ending in divorce, loss of custody, family home, vehicles, wages garnished, everything. Started by downing vodka shots during "smoke break", then lunch, then sneaking shots onto production floor. We tried counseling, day off, friends intervention, all to no avail. He was fired on the floor, had alcohol on him, became belligerent and threatening. Company security, police and sheriff's deputies each reported. He was tased, handcuffed, shackled and spit hood put in place. He was fired, sued and lost with judgement issued against him AAAAANNNNNDDDD lost all security clearances. Went from production lead earning $100,000+ in the 1980's to $10/hr crap off the books job.,🤦

Its not getting drunk at work. Its more likely alcoholism. It would have been better for her to get some support in for her than enforcement. Terminating her employment whilst she was drunk was also heavy handed. Of course people can't be drunk at their desk, but the police had a better approach with her than the employers who knew her better. Its upsetting.

She's a drunk. She's also lying. Half of the drunks that I have been unfortunate enough to be around don't even remember their bad behavior when they sober up. So, therefore, they aren't responsible for their actions. I can't handle them at all. I would lay money that she doesn't have a clean record.

I’m not saying she’s not drunk but I have seen diabetics act this way. You think they are drunk but they’re having a diabetic episode. Prove that she was drinking? My father was a diabetic and he did not drink. And there’s been a few times where he could’ve swore he was drunk. I’m just saying we have to give the young lady a benefit of the doubt until it’s proven that she is drunk. There is no emergency medical people there. Why?

I am infuriated and should not have watched this video; I have lived with the horrible injuries that I sustained from a drunk driver at the age of 9 yrs, I'm now 60 yrs old. Life long injuries, because someone, (a chronic alcoholic took to the road), this woman drove to work in this condition. Thank God that she did not hit someone. I had surgeries, long hospitalization, rehabilitation and the high cost of my hospital bills from the injuries, which proved to be life altering. The driver had no insurance and did not pay a thing.
I am livid that this woman dared to get behind the wheel and drove to work. Laws are different from when I was hit in the 70's, and she should have a greater awareness to the destruction that she can cause. But, no she caused a scene and verbally assaulted the police. I am grateful that police showed her patience, but I wonder if she looked like me, if she would have been handled so respectfully? Real talk. I hope she gets every consequence that she has coming to her. I hope that the judge suspends her driver's license until she complies to her state's requirements for people driving under the influence, disorderly conduct and the verbal assault on the police officers.I hope that she's aware that the law school could decide to drop her. Finding another school to take as a student could prove challenging, if not impossible. Her behavior was problematic on the video. Her employer has already fired her and this video is floating around on the internet. I raised my son with this phrase, "There are consequences for your bad behavior," thankfully so far he tries to think through consequences. I hope she learns from her actions and this never occurs with her again. It was hard to watch and triggering, but thank you for sharing this video.
