Man that looks great. I haven't gone back to Odyssey since I got my 4090.. Looks like it may be time. Odyssey was my favorite entry in the Ac franchise.
Still one of the best looking games out there 5 years later. The art direction is top tier, the only game that has better scenery IMO is the witcher 3. I'm also a huge fan of Greek history so I love this game
This was a great title from which I highly recommend the Atlantis DLC. Also for some curious reason I enjoyed much more to playing as Kassandra in this specific title of this series.

The problem with this game is that night time needs to be a lot darker its bright during daytime i have my brightness on 40 in the game settings but i have to put it down to number 10 or 20 to get it darker at night to give it that immersion then back up to 40 in day time anything lower will make the game to dark in the day time also the torch is useless at night as you don't need it unless your in cave's. Brightness levels slider go's up in 10 increment's so lowering the brightness down to 30 just makes the game to dark for me during daytime and even 30 at night time still isn't dark enough.I even tried reshade makes no different to sort the problem out. Unless it can be changed in the game config files to set the night darkness down to a lower number but i couldn't find it.
JX, can you please tell me what your exact reshade settings were to get the game looking this amazing? I have RTGI working with reshade now thanks to you. I just want my game looking this incredible as well. Mine doesn't look anywhere near this incredible. Thanks

@@MatheusFilipo use %difference, not fps one and use real reviews, not fake youtube videos. its 60-80% percentage in 4k and 8k and its scales the same as 2080ti, 3090, 3090ti etc until you got enough memory

its not Native ray tracing , I used ray tracing reshade preset to simulate ray tracing global illumination :)

I am very sad that the rtx 4090 doesn't scale well in 8k in ac Odyssey and Valhalla compared to the rtx 3090
what you mean?
Obviously, it doesn't. It has the same memory subsystem, so it will be bottlenecked at 8K by its lack of memory bandwidth.
