Zack Edey is the tough force on both ends that we need in our frontcourt! Domas gets beat up big time in the paint due to our general lack of length, and we need a tough, gritty frontcourt guy to help Domas on the glass and in the paint. I think if we were able to develop Fox's shooting, Edey can be taught as well. His immediate skillset and projected potential makes him the optimal pick for me, even if his playstyle may seem "outdated".
Draft picks are gambles, regardless of age. Think the Kings should trade or look for free agent. But like Tidjane Salaün if they draft- tall, skilled, athletic. He’s young, but Dereck Lively was a 19yo draft pick. And the foreign experience adds a bit of age to the evaluation.
I like his point about Edey. Why pay more for Jonas who is older and costs more. Get someone like eddy plus keep more money to get something else. Also good point on Ingram. Talk about an injury prone money gamble.
Tristan da silva from colorado would fit perfectly with our wing issue, a 2 way tall wing that plays off the ball and seems more nba ready than most top picks in the draft with his basketball iq. Also one of the best transition players in college ball fits the pace along with his solid athleticism should make for a great plus for the kings considering barnes is getting older and malik (hopefully not) might leave. Keep in mind that we dont have time to develop a jared mccain or a bronny, we need a nba ready player that fits with our run and gun offense and hopefully our growing defense. Also 1 or 2 veterans in the locker room for minimum type deals would make a huge difference (Pat bev, kyle lowry?) Starting lineup next year could be Fox Ellis Barnes or Tristan Keegan Domas Bench Davion Kev and/or malik (if malik leaves then kevin) Len
Zach Edey has a 7' 10 1/4" wingspan and a vertical reach of 9' 7". And has a great FT percentage. Can't move him off the block, and has better footwork than people think
We definitely need another Skilled Big who can Score/Rebound, and play next to Sabonis, someone athletic, like a Jalen Duren, who i really wanted in that Draft, but i would definitely love to get Edey.
The Kings desperately need their 13th pick to be able to make this team, and be an effective rotational player coming off the bench at minimum, and pray this is one of those mid 1st rounders, that surprises everyone, and turns out to be way more talented than expected coming out, like a Donavon Mitchell or Tyrese Haliburton, because this team isn't going to attract big time name, free agents and their already paying Fox and Sabonis big money, so they need to really hit in the draft the next few years, and get some good talent, on Rookie Contracts.
A player on a rookie contract when you're trying to add a 3rd huge salary on top of resigning Monk Is a must. Yes the team will be forced to trade more future draft picks since the 13th has established worth while the future picks don't. Keep the pick and then make a trade
I know that there is a player in the top 25 that in hindsight 3-5 years we would wish we had and would cost a lot to trade for. I hope we pick that player 🙏
I like all 4 of these picks a lot as well. Smith is probably a little too raw out of the 4. It depends how confident they are that Monk is coming back. Carter is the best 2 way guy on the list. Edey is the best offensive guy on the list and Ware is the biggest what if on the list because he has all the physical tools to be a great player. I worry about Edey if he can rotate on defense and hold his own like Sabonis on the perimeter.
Mark Eaton was awkward. Muresan, Smits, Manute Bol, James Donaldson, and many more were too. All these guys could dominate in today's NBA because they were talented. And most of them could also shoot the 3. The NBA suffers from a lack of creativity and critical coaching minds.
Why follow that trend of older rookies when superstars all have to go through being young and sometimes they’re greater when they’re young than they are when they’re older
King's might as well draft Bronny, for that 1% chance to lure LeBron for a Season, it would be our only shot at every getting to the Finals anytime soon, he wouldn't have to move his family away from L.A., and he could reunite with Mike Brown.
Bridges is out of our $$$ offers . Bridges is looking to get $$ -26+ million over 3-4 years Kings can just make an offer of $20-22 for Monk. I still believe Kings can't attract high end/elite young talent in Free agency. But maybe Monte and with coach Brown here it has changed. Remember Zach Levine and Kyle kuzma command $28+ a year and the Kings still can't attract them...Bridges is almost that 3D forward and younger will probably command more than both of them... I don't see him coming here at all.
I could see Bronny James first couple seasons, if he makes the NBA, comparable to Davion Mitchell, not as good as Davion defensively, but frame wise, and more of a true PG, great distributor, floor general, high Basketball I.Q. pretty good shooter, and someone who can make his teammates better, similar to how his Dad does, but if Bronny can get 1 more little growth spurt, and get up to about 6"3/6"4, you know he already has access to the best training available you can get, i think his hard work, dedication, and will to prove to everybody, that he belongs jn the NBA, and didn't get there just because of Daddy, he could have a nice ling career in the League similar to a Jrue Holiday.

Zach Edey. Thank you for listening

This is my assessment as well. Bonus if the player is a long athletic 4.
Yes, yes yes yes yes on Zach

Keep the pick and then make a trade
A true 5 would be nice, len is ok though. Attacking scorer is a priority.
Edey is the move
I am totally cool with Tyler Smith or Devin Carter as the picks at @ #13
I know that there is a player in the top 25 that in hindsight 3-5 years we would wish we had and would cost a lot to trade for. I hope we pick that player 🙏
Gamble and get Zach Edey
DEREK LIVELY OR ZACH Edey at center could be great backup to Sabonis and Alex Len
Bobby is the best

Reed Sheppard is the best player in this draft, but he's just 6'3. Is there any chance of him falling?
6" 1.5 measurement at combine
Why follow that trend of older rookies when superstars all have to go through being young and sometimes they’re greater when they’re young than they are when they’re older
TIDJANE IS 6-9 POWER FORWARD.WHAT IS THE STATUS ON SASHO AND LYLES?.
Can we win a playoff series FIRST before hoping to win the championship in 3 years?
Id be fine with drafting one of the three SF Dalton Knect, Cody Williams,Tidjane Salaun
**que dont need luka song by matt george**
Edey won’t be available at 13. Some team is going to take a chance on him if he is still available pass 10.
Domas and Jonas could be a great team???
I would like the Kings take a chance at Tyler Smith or Tidjane Salaun if they're still on the board.
wow , devon carter looks good

Fuck no
Nah keep that no defense crying baby in LA
Agreed Kings don't need a drama Queen on the team
Bronny is G-League Bound. LEBRON IS TRASH 🗑
😂- why would the Kings "pay" $50 million for a one year of LeBron? So they trade Fox away? LoL 🎉. And get bronny a g-leaguer going forward?? Nahhh!
BRONNY IS G-LEAGUE BOUND
Take Shannon Jr., or Topiç if he falls
Bronny at #13 pick for sure. Then let's get Lebron and learn from his wisdom in bringing a championship to a team.
I want to use the pick along working a trade to get mikal bridges
If we can pull it I wouldn't even mind get a solid upgrade for the bench 4 to 6 mil guy
Mikal bridges is work around 24 million
Bridges is out of our $$$ offers . Bridges is looking to get $$ -26+ million over 3-4 years Kings can just make an offer of $20-22 for Monk. Draft a wing

Just draft Kel'el Ware its not a hard decision if he isnt there. Trade it
Kellie is a good draft pick for the Kings.
