I have massive respect for the Apache. Amongst the greatest warriors whoever roamed the earth. It’s great to see a modern day warrior for these latter days. Thank you brother for your story of perseverance.

I served as a missionary on the San Carlos Apache reservation in Bylas, Az during the end of 2018, as a Mexican-American I was honored to serve my Apache cousins. Such beautiful people, I miss it everyday ❤.

In my experience it’s becoming clear that God wants me to drop any identity except that of being His (and Hers, I know, but I don’t know exactly how to think about that) daughter. All other identifiers have to drop away till I have NO OTHER Gods before Him. In my experience it has sometimes been painful and scary but the sweet illumination and sense of comfort, sanity, and ease which results as I let go of my pride and find my true identity makes it all worthwhile. Thank you Ashleigh for continuing to bring the Come Back podcast to us. I’m gonna buy some merch. 😍

The fear causing anxiety/panic attacks that led to self doubt is something I totally understand. And it does come from the adversary. So many people struggle with this and depression that can lead to all kinds of self destructive behaviors, avoiding things, shutting down and even suicide. The Lord healed people of these mental illnesses when He cast out devils and unclean spirits. Today, the Lord has provided many tools to help us overcome in addition to prayer and personal revelation such as medication and therapy, priesthood blessings, etc. For me, it helped to know the true cause of my anxiety so that I stopped blaming myself. It relieved much of my anxiety and helped me listen to God’s influence and comfort.

I was called to the (Laminate or Indian Program as the
Assistant Coordinator for the Riverside Indian school called Sherman at the time. I had Hopi, Navajo, and Apache
High School age students from Arizona and the majority of students
    were
White Mountain and San Carlos, Apache. All in Arizona. I also was the Seminary teacher for that group and there were 5 baptised at that time.
I'm in touch with many of them still today and they were always called "My Kids". I love them as if they were my very own.
I have visited there and stayed at someones home, while we watched the Sunrise Dance for one of my kids
    daughter. I got to
    Visit with all of them.
    The
Apache have a very special place in my heart and will
forever. Someday i plan on going back and visiting the Temple with those stiil active. I am thrilled to have helped bring some to a knowledge of the Gospel.
Love what is happening with this COME BACK PODCAST. Also, thrilled with this Brothers return HOME.

Yes, your right; if there's anything you want to know more about the church, ask Heavenly Father❤

Love what you’re doing! Please though… it’s not the LDS Church. It’s the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or the Church of Jesus Christ. Let’s have more faith in the Lord’s promises through His prophet concerning power being poured down upon us as we call ourselves and the Church by what the Lord has asked, rather than more faith in the algorithm.
