I used to love the lemon party show but it has felt a bit off lately. The jokes are still great, but I had the chance to meet Ben one time and it was a little weird. I was at a showing of The Whale in Dallas and I saw Ben there. I walked up to him in the theater and told him that I loved the podcast. Instead of saying "hi" or something like a normal person he said "it wasn't 6 million but I sure wish it was." I really hope that he didn't mean what I thought he meant. I asked him what he meant and he put his finger over his lips to shush me and told me that the whale was starting and I need to be quiet. Honestly more weird than anything.
You think Tim ever sits by himself, contemplating how he let Ben get away. And I'm glad he did. This is the best podcast I've ever come across.

Nah, Tim's bounced back. The first two or three episodes without Ben were shaky, of course, but he's got it back. Tim needs to recognize his strength is not interviewing people, which is why his guest shows suck, but when it's just him, sorry, but he's better than these three nobodies combined. The giggler is no longer needed.

It's not like Tim's the bad guy in this who fired Ben because he wouldn't give Ben more money, the story is Ben walked away because he wasn't satisfied with his job anymore, and Tim offered him more money, but he walked anyway. Why, did Ben say something different? Plenty of rumors, but that's what Tim actually said.

I saw Jace while I was on vacation in LA and I walked up to him to tell him I was a fan of the pod. Before I could say anything he took off his shirt and belt and started self flagellating and screaming in some language that could only be described as gibberish. His arm was covered in track marks and he had a loose tourniquet dangling off his bicep area. I asked him if he was ok and he just reached into his back pocket and pulled out a box cutter and started chasing me for about 3 blocks telling me that he was gonna take all my slurs. I got away safely and I'm not even upset about it to be honest, I'm just worried for him.

I've actually stopped watching Tim. I didn't realize how important it was to have Ben's dynamic in the room. Of course Tim's funny, but so much of it hinged on the responses he was getting. Lemonparty is obviously a different animal, but I love listening to a friend-driven "yes, and" as I make my heavily medicated drive to the casino each day! This time'll be the game changer! 🌞

Met ben one time at a whataburger in texas, he was great and took a picture with me after he was done physical assaulting one of the staff members for messing up his order
I was standing at a crosswalk eating a container of fries when someone reached from behind me to steal one. I looked behind me to confront the thief and to my surprise it was Ben Avery. I smiled to say hello and he proceeded to stab me in the gut several times with a letter opener.
For me the funniest part is that they will never know that peter was the dolphin in both stories

@@adamgoodman7795 Not just a producer, but a sidekick and a personal assistant. For sure he should have paid Ben a cut of their patreon, like ten or twenty percent. Just last night, using the Lex Fridman show to fall asleep, and Lex had the pig on, the pig told Lex how Ben and his wife had let him stay there, and they started filming pods (and maybe they filmed on their back porch?), and the pig was very thankful to Ben for helping him get his start in podcasting. Ben is a lot lot lot funnier here with his bra and Devan.

I saw Devan by himself at The Love Store in Victorville (?) yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like 8 miniature bottles of lube (without paying). The woman at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bottles and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bottle and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I grew up with Ben and Jace in west Texas. All of the kids in the community were terrified of these freaks. They once forced me to eat mushrooms, handcuffed me in my basement, turned the lights off and left me there for two days while my parents were on vacation in Corpus Christi. It was the worst 48 hours of my life. They drank all my parent’s liquor and Jace (I’m assuming) ate all the food. They let me go a few hours before my parents got back and said I drank all the liquor and they found me passed out in the basement. It took about ten years for my parents to believe what actually happened. To this day I suffer from ptsd and I’m on medication for trauma induced schizophrenia all because of what happened to me at the hands of these animals. Shame on Devan for being associated with these two. Luckily I found a lovely woman who has helped me through this healing process but my road to recovery is still very long. I just hope to function like a normal human being one day. I know justice will find Ben and Jace Avery. If not in this life, than with God in the afterlife. I still pray for them.

I used to chill with Jace back in middle school. One time at a sleepover he forced us all to sneak out in the middle of the night with a bunch of screwdrivers so that we could dig out home plate at the local little league baseball field. He knew this was the night before the big game that was supposed to take place the next day. I remember going back and seeing the Umpire and coaches freaking out because they didn’t have home plate. After we got it out of the ground he pulled down his pants and released a monster log almost the size of a 2 liter Dr Pepper right in the batters box. I wanted to laugh but I just felt bad for whoever had to clean that up. When we got back to his house he opened up a treasure chest in the basement and revealed a huge stack of home plates that he had stolen from the field with screwdrivers. I told him it was hilarious but deep down I knew it was seriously messed up. Your time is coming Jace one day you’re gonna pay for all those plates.

Damn I've been subscribed for a while but this is my first time watching. Genuinely one of the funniest things I've watched in a long time.

Little known fact is that Ben and David Goggins attended the same middle school at the same time. David was a chunky kid back then and Ben used to Bully him with his superior height and arm reach. One time Ben kept calling him “David Joggins” because it was something David would never do, jog. The next day Ben taunted Goggins by coming to school and running circles around the young, portly David, yelling unspeakable things at him. Now David Goggins is in peak human performance and has been chasing and searching for Ben ever since seeking his vengeance. If David finds Ben it will be a horrific scene, for sure. I'll be honest, I once met Ben at a 76 in Beverly Hills. He seemed different. Which sucks because I've met other public figures at this gas station. I told him how much I appreciated both him and his brother, Jace. But I accidentally said, 'Chase.' Ben started speaking unbeknownst Spanish, saying, 'What was that hombre, you got a stuttering problem?' Ben then started doing the WWE 'suck-it' sign, and drove off in a Rolls-Royce with a dude that looked like he was about to eat him.

Jack Black interrupted his mother while she was finishing her work for Apollo 13. After her water broke, she did not rush to the hospital. She instead finished her work on the abort-guidance system that ended up saving the crew, following the equipment failure that infamously forced them to skip the landing and slingshot straight home.
Side note, Apollo 13 by Ron Howard is excellent- they only wrote dialogue as necessary (mostly scenes set at the homes of the crew) and whenever possible, just stuck to the transcripts word-for-word.
