Great advice. The longer you wait to just introduce yourself the more awkward it gets. Just breaking the ice will get rid of most of the anxiety.

Interesting take. As someone who works in hospitality, I’ve learned most people never get better at socializing because they’re scared of judgment. I used to be super shy myself, but learned how to interact with people through trial & error. I’d say ironically women are not taught how to speak with others, but are taught what they should expect. This makes things more challenging because for a person to be approached, they must be approachable. I also noticed it’s guys who make the effort & the women don’t. From my perspective as a woman, it’s made me empathize with men more because I know what it’s like to be scared that someone just thinks you’re annoying & doesn’t want to speak with you. That is regardless of what you want from them. There’s entitlement on both sides to be fair. Having good heartfelt conversations with male guests made me want to open up my mind & want to understand. That’s what’s missing nowadays. Everyone is in their own head & playing a narrative. That doesn’t help anyone.

Yup. I'm the same when I was younger. I had a hard time just saying, "Hi." Or, reply back when someone says, "Hi. " People are like: "Wow! What a snob!"
People avoid social gatherings because they will feel uncomfortable. They can't relate or contribute to the conversation. Someone in the group might say a wise comment that's going to hit a nerve in you.

Cold approaching a vvoman without said vvoman giving you the green light to do so, is NOT a good idea. You should only approach a vvoman IF and only IF, said vvoman gives you the green light/choosing signals.

Was always shy and not good socially. I am jacked but average looking. At the start of this year I challenged myself to approach 300 women to get rid of my shyness and better socially. What I have learned:
- Women don't want to be approached
- Most of them couldn't handle the situation and just stared at me like I was doing something completely crazy
- Out of 300 approaches I got a single date out of
- It reinforced my limiting beliefs and took me 2-3 months to get my confidence back to normal, it basically shattered me
Since then I didn't approach a single girl I was attracted to to keep my confidence up.
Can't recommend it really.

Yup. The whole attitude I've seen some dudes have of "Omg, a woman! Sex!" Gets them no where. You're not respectful of the individual, once you start seeing women as individuals and not as a collective.

Another thing I realized as I have been going on more dates or talking to more women is test out different speeds of pursuing a woman. For example, I have tried being very sexual and some women get repulsed and some women like it.
I have found out recently the best opener in beggining of text messages is saying you like to cuddle and give a woman a back massage. This will reveal if she knows how to flirt or she is shy. She will say something flirty back like "I also got something in mind that my long nails want to get a hold of." OR "I need to replay the favor now" Then once you two are getting more comfortable it gets dirtier.
the hook up culture has messed it up for both men and women. Delay "gratification", dont get in bed like there was no tomorrow. Take the time to use your "upper brain" rather than the brain sitting in your pants😉

The other day I approached a park bench and there happened to be a woman sitting on it, so I had to ask respectfully if I may take a sit next to her. She turned out to be a foreigner who was not understanding what I meant, so I decided not to make an extra effort to translate my question to her and just benched myself silently besides her until she went away.

Not trying to be a pussy but I'm kinda fucked in the head rn
When I was in 12th grade my parents and the whole community told me to study for the entrance exam to get into one of your country's best unis if possible in better majors, So I did end up smashing it and getting into university of tehran computer engineering (is one of the most in demand majors and also I do like tech) but after couple months I saw that I'm just not build for all this math and we all know how terrible the education system is and it totally killed me and I just kept failing and now I'm in a critical situation where either get fired (my mom would kill me) or somehow making it work and keep torturing myself studying in a total of 6 years for a damn bachelor's degree which might not help me in anyway ever (I'm not even that deep into coding and all) BTW in iran if you stop studying, straight to the army ( it can be absolute he'll or at the least almost 2 years of waste of life but i mean uni for me is waste also but in the mund of my parents) if I stay I will hate the coming years just as I did and now there is even more pressure cuz if I fail again I'm kicked out and if I leave then I will go to the army which most likely is going to be pretty bad but nonetheless I would be free afterwards and you know we self improvement dudes can bare hardship so army is doable but uni is just different I can't idk why (worth noting that after getting the degree I have to still go the army it is basically inevitable for men here)
Lest say I went to the army and left uni, now what? I can make a yt channel like farfromweak but Persian which I haven't seen anyone done well here, other then that I cannot think of a way of getting my financial goals you know specifically not here because of sanctions not all ways are open for me
What skill should I learn that would make me money? Sales? Programming? I tried these but it doesn't look like I got any talent on them
