    After learning from you, I have gained a deeper understanding of bearings. I have made some changes to my machine to sustain maintenance.

    Please create Detailed video about Heat Treatment of commonly used Metals in machine manufacturing such as En8, En19, En31, D2, 20Mncr5 etc. Also try to explain about when to use hardness and do toughning and case hardening. With standard HRC values

    • @mastermechanicaldesign

      Sure!! Very good suggestion. Surely I'll do

    • @hithishn2221
      @hithishn2221 7 месяцев назад

      case hardening is used for drive shafts such as EN24, 20mncr5, 16mncr5, EN 19, EN 355
      HDS, HC D2, HC D3, C45 are used for die making, cutting blades, tools etc, for high HRC applications
      OHNS material if through hardening required
      any one correct me if i am wrong! and share if you know more... in detail.

    Good work Ayush!! one thing i would like to ask here is what about the load due chain/Belt tension on the bearing? is there any constant (Approx value) that we can consider instead of doing another whole some calculation of motor speed Belt/chain tension?

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  6 месяцев назад

      Yes there are constants for different types of drives, you can find this in this video at 8:26 ruclips.net/video/GjrWfV2EN7Q/видео.html

    I want to use a deep groove ball bearing for mounting on hub with a static load capacity of 10.3 KN and Dynamic Load Capacity of 17KN, and the maximum load under the breaking + turning condition is around 8KN, should I consider this case as Boundary Lubrication Condition or Full film lubrication Condition??

    • @adityanarayan5641
      @adityanarayan5641 3 месяца назад

      as the static factor of safety is around 1.2 i am doubting using it

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  3 месяца назад

      You should do full calculations step by step. full fill lubrication condition is always better, give much more life.

    How is dynamic load rating more than static load rating? Can you please explain sir.

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  3 месяца назад

      Both are very different thing, Dynamic load rating is related to fatigue, where static load rating is related to strength of bearing material and its deformation, (already explained in this video)

    • @ankurverma401
      @ankurverma401 3 месяца назад

      @@mastermechanicaldesign Does that mean it can withstand more load while in running condition than in static condition

    Can u explain the design of bearings subjected to radial load in 4 Directions

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  7 месяцев назад

      Radial load in 4 directions - could you elaborate this. Like from load at every 90 degrees.

      @@mastermechanicaldesign sir it means assume a motor shaft in motor having a sun gear on it and this motor shaft will be supported on two bearings and it will rotate three planets each 120 degrees apart, then each planet will give a radial load on sun it will transfer to bearing, so the bearing want to be supported in that case how we can calculate dynamic load on motor shaft bearing..?

    • @mastermechanicaldesign
      @mastermechanicaldesign  7 месяцев назад

      I guess you should apply the principal of superposition to calculate the equivalent dynamic load. Square root of sum of squares of each individual force acting in different directions.
