Nice video! You slept so long...you may have missed the mid-fight snacks! Sad that UAL didn't ensure there are PJs for business class customers. I swear there's always something UAL misses, it takes 2 steps forward in certain respects but then misses the mark on the most simplest amenity option and bam, UAL takes one leap backwards. The breakfast food offering looked good, unfortunate that there wasn't any substantial protein provided like ham or sausage or bacon, etc.
I fly out of LAX or SFO to, I live in Humboldt County, so it makes it easy for me.
Last year year I flew to Vietnam then three times to Bangkok Thailand this year.I wanted to go to South Korea. This fall, but the selection of flights weren’t very good. I fly business class to.
So I’m looking to go with us next spring time lol I don’t like the heat.
Korea is beautiful in the spring, best weather for sure!

Nice. You were 5A, right? Would the closest inside seat to you be 6G? Trying to get 2 business class seats for my wife and 9yo son but want to make sure they're across from each other. or maybe just put them behind each other...Thanks!

I’ve flown Korean air economy and prefer it to United economy - so personally I would pick Korean air prestige (never flown this one but would love to)
Excellent video. However, the United Airlines Polaris service loses out to Asiana Airlines Business Smartium service provided you did United States to South Korea
The Polaris seats are great, but I find United’s service inconsistent. And single tray service on a long haul flight is a no no..

I see that this was posted to YT about 3 months ago? Again, post pandemic, United Airlines has NOT returned their long-haul international service product to what it should be, and used to be. It is pathetic when they plop down the ENTIRE meal on just one tray!! Sad.
I know that not everyone in Polaris has paid full fare. Outrageous prices IF you do. But?? Even upgrades who are MileagePlus means that they've spent A LOT on previous flights. No excuse NOT to enhance the catering AND the service standards. Of course, I am well familiar with the attitudes of Inflight (Flight Attendants) working for US carriers. I'm a pilot, now retired from a US carrier.
As you likely know, the airlines lost a lot of money during the Pandemic. They are trying to get that money back in, unfortunately, as short a period as possible. Sad, but understandable. Doubt if they really worked out the effect of demand coming back so strong and heavy and, more importantly, as quickly. They seem partly unprepared for it.
