Nice work, keep up the good work with the videos Randy and I gotta tell you I like the ending music that you put on your video I just sit here and listen to it when it gets to that part Lol.
Something that's been screaming in the back of my head: is the lane topography different between lanes 39 and 40? Almost every show I watch it seems like 40 hooks a lot more regardless of lane pattern. Love the work you do Randy! Thanks!
If you ever do decide to come bowl with us, just let me know ahead of time so we can coordinate, you know, just to make sure we're taping that day. It would be a drag for you to go to the trouble of coming only to discover once you get there that we're not bowling that day. Just hit me up ahead of time with the date you wanna come and we'll coordinate.
@@seth4888 -- Summer's not ideal Really, starting in April, it gets very hit and miss. We have one or two weekends in April when the kids will be off bowling Pepsi, so there won't be a PRODIGY. Our bowling center usually gets taken over Easter weekend, so unless we travel the show that weekend, there won't be one then either. In May, we have two weekends when our PRODIGY bowlcasts are only open to our Roswell league kids. In June, there's usually one or two events that are invitational, and in the case of the TOC, you have to have already won on PRODIGY to be eligible. Then, we shut things down in July and August. There aren't any shows then. So if you're gonna come, the time to do it is between now and the end of March. Let me know if you decide to and we'll coordinate.
just curious Coach randy - when you are taping the Prodigy episodes, are you able to give the littles (maybe even the bigs) some moral support and perhaps some hints to help them deal with the more difficult patterns like the one on this week's episode?
There's not a whole lot of opportunity for coaching during the taping of the shows or even during the qualifying round. However, depending upon the level of interest in participation tomorrow, I'm thinking about NOT taping a regular show tomorrow and instead doing some after-league coaching. I may even film it to see if there's anything there worth sharing.
There is 1 more Brunzwick Zone in the USA and that is Brunzwick Zone Pla-Mor Lanes. If that got renamed to Bowlero Pla-Mor Lanes in Pittsburgh I will freak out.
All Brunswick Zone Bowling Places in my State, like for Example, Brunswick Via Linda Lanes, Brunswick Zone Mesa, Brunswick Zone Glendale, Brunswick Kyrene Lanes, Brunswick Desert Sky Lanes, etc. have switched over to Bowlero, as what the Names are now, for Example, are Bowlero Via Linda, Bowlero Mesa, Bowlero Glendale, Bowlero Kyrene, Bowlero Desert Sky, etc. & to let you know that Brunswick Zone was my Most Favorite Bowling Place to bowl at & despite your Freak-Out Reaction to the 1 Brunswick Zone Bowling Place switching over to Bowlero at your State, Wheeling Nailers, my Reaction is the Sad Reaction, as I’m sad to lose Brunswick Zone in replacement to Bowlero/AMF, but that won’t stop me from bowling however, as Bowling happens to be my Favorite Sport, especially when it comes to these Pinsetters that I happen to like more, the Brunswick A-2 Pinsetters, where even if all the Ads are the same on the Rakers, the Rakers still come down at different Speeds on each Lane. And yes, I know a lot about bowling, as again, Bowling is my Favorite Sport, especially when it comes to the Pinsetters that I like watching them go, even the Pinsetters that I like more, the Brunswick A-2 Pinsetters.
As you guys are bowling on Lanes #39 & #40 in the Video, as I can see Lane #32 going in the Background, it still has the “WE ❤️ BIRTHDAYS!” Ad on the Raker of the Brunswick A-2 Pinsetter instead of the Bowlero Logo Ad. It’s like if that Bowling Place is still partially Brunswick Zone Roswell, if that Bowling Place is now Bowlero Roswell. Lane #19 there has the AMF Logo Ad on the Raker of the Brunswick A-2 Pinsetter & it’s not even an AMF Bowling Place to begin with. I’d say that the Bowling Place is right now mixed up between Brunswick Zone (Former), AMF (What’s not to begin with…), & Bowlero (What’s now…). The Brunswick Zone Bowling Places at my State have successfully switched over to Bowlero & there are no mix-ups nor mess-ups at all, etc.. They’re completely Bowlero now, which if I can ever post some more Bowling Videos on here to what I currently have on my Channel right now, I can show you like the completion of Bowlero throughout some Bowlero Videos that I’d make at times that I go bowling at Bowlero.
Would love to have you. Again, if you ever do decide to come, just hit me up ahead of time so we can coordinate. I wouldn't want anyone to go to the trouble of showing up only to find out we're not taping that day, or that we're taping somewhere else. If you settle on a date to come, just contact me through our Facebook group or by emailing me (randy (at) prodigy bowlers tour (dot) com) and we'll coordinate your visit.
It's so hard to not get frustrated at the littles for not understanding or changing their approach when their original shot isn't working, but then i remember, they're not even teenagers yet
Great production. Thanks for all you guys do for the game. Not a fan of the No Hats rule as someone that has bowled in a hat their entire life, but that is a discussion for another day.
January 19, 2020 now...still, i watch this channel..it's interesting. I think sir that the professional bowling association should fund you with the same mechanics!
Hey Coach, just out of curiosity, you said that there is a 10$ fee for your bowling if you qualify for PRODIGY, and I have got a suggestion, I think the winner each week, should get their entry fee back. It would motivate them to not give up, and concentrate on their bowling. I think it would be a good idea. You should consider it.
Where were you last Spring when we had about six straight episodes that chronicled the remodeling of the bowling center, and then the special feature where the signs outside were changed out and the new masking units went in. Yes, there are no more Brunswick Zones in America. They've all been renamed. The Brunswick corporation sold all its bowling centers to Bowlmor-AMF back in 2014, and with the sale came a five-year license of the name "Brunswick." 2019 marked the end of the five-year license to use the name, so we knew the centers that carried the name Brunswick would have to be renamed. Most of them are now Bowlero, since Bowlmor-AMF changed its name to Bowlero, and that's the parent company that owns the place.
Yes, you can. Normally, Randy tells people just to show up. Since you're coming from out of state, he would tell you to email him first with the dates that you will be in Georgia. I would do it before the end of March as there are events for the Bowlero Roswell Youth League Bowlers only in April. Also, there are Tournament of Champions events in each of the local bowling centers. There are also state wide bowling events. The best bet is to email Randy
Yeah, we haven't done dual PBA patterns. The PBA patterns are a little tricky. You either have to have a license to use them, or you need a PBA player to download them. They're not widely available. We have one or two in our Kegel Flex machine. And we've done a couple of shows before with two different patterns on the two lanes. They've just not both been PBA patterns. There's nothing particularly magical about the PBA patterns. A 37-foot pattern is a 37-foot pattern, whether it's a PBA pattern or a Kegel pattern or a World Bowling pattern. I don't much care. We're about due to do another dual-pattern event, but not right away. We've got a few other tricks up our sleeve in the interim.
@@ProdigyBowlersTour one center I bowl at has all the more recent PBA patterns but that center used to hold PBA events. What about something like Taj Mahal on the right lane and Turnpike on the left?
@@ProdigyBowlersTour Didn't you do a Paris to L.A. last year? As I recall these patterns were less than popular as one was short oil and one was long oil. The bowlers couldn't adjust to the different lane conditions.
All I wanna say is they aren’t playing this pattern the way they should. I get if u can open up the lane and hook it ur gonna want to do that but the best way to approach this pattern is playing to the right and playing straighter because there is less margin for error that way. I learned that the hard way during j gold
@@ProdigyBowlersTour There is a slight angle bias. Move really deep, and if you miss outside, the ball will have to travel farther before reaching the end of the pattern (it's traveling more sideways than straight down lane), so it will recover even less.

A couple videos back, Coach Randy explained in one of the videos why he doesn't fix all errors. Some are just not worth the trouble. To fix an error in RUclips, you fix the error, then you have to re-encode to the RUclips channel. This process takes hours to complete. When you re upload to RUclips, you lose all your comments, and all the views. The number of views are very important to the RUclips video creators. Coach randy do you think the littles throwing the ball all over the lane and pushing the oil down effected Matt’s ball reaction?
Matt's balls were super aggressive and rolling out before carry down could make much of a difference.
