You're right. I can't stand watching those cocky, fist pumping, chest bumping, animated Men and their ridiculous hook balls that destroy the pins. I liked it better in the old days when a bowler used one ball, not 5. It's like watching the Golden State Warriors in the NBA steamroll their opponents most every game.
I have been in bowling and golf for many moons...and cashed in on a few tournaments. If you really want to see the correct form and end results in both sports...watch the ladies. I used to teach bowing to the younger..just starting out bowlers. I would shut the auto-computer scorer and have them keep score on paper...which would show up on the screen (the manager was kewl)...Then they found out quickly about pin count...and the foundation 9th frame.....Also...if you spare...you're there...and if you're square...you spare~~ ;-)
These ladies are amazing love women's bowling I like them more then the men men use to much power hard to watch them sometimes
