Today is the 8-year anniversary of the passing of my dearest Uncle. This was his FAVORITE movie. The pudding scene would make him laugh until he cried. The timing here is crazy. Thank you so much for this... RIP Unky Umar. He kicks ass for the Lord now.
She thought the cards gave her a quirky wimp. But he revealed he's an awesome asset in a zombie apocalypse & he found a woman who could hold her own & didn't care he almost caused the apocalypse.
Everyone remembers Evil Dead, but no love for Dead Alive? Thanks, Newbie for featuring this almost lost horror/comedy/gorefest delight. I read about in in Fangoria way back when...Pepperidge remembers.
LOL...why does this movie make me think of my husband? Such a momma' s boy! (Love you Loki!!) (Kinda wish the guy who played the priest in this movie could've played Father Callahan in Salem' s Lot, tbh) Great review !!! :)
The junky lizard knife thrower, rabbit with syphilis, that movie is amazing. Thank you Blockbusters for not realizing what it was and renting it to a eight year old because if it's puppets it's gotta be in the kids section.
30 years old! This is some of the best 80s schlock Even an unknown collection of actors make this a pleasant enough experience Lionel even gets the courage to face his monstrous mother while dealing with all the undead breaking from his virtual prison to being reborn out of his cage Theres even a priest character who makes this so much fun going all out Jackson much like Sam Raimi revels in the makeup and practical effects Off putting for most but a dream come true for gorehounds being a black comedy Has enough of a light tone amidst all the blood splattered on screen along with a sweet romance
I remember watching this with a friend of mine on VHS back in the day - it was just nasty as hell and tough to get through. Except for the ninja Priest. He's cool.
Another awesome review, one of my favourite movies I grew up with 😅 true Aussie/Kiwi movie taste. Another one you have to check out is Australias very own "Body Melt"
When I saw the title card, I thought, "Hmm...That looks familiar." It wasn't until after I hit play and started eating that I remembered what movie this was. 🤢
I paused it when the ear fell off! I didn't flinch at the Serbian 4 years ago. I think all this study has made me mellow. I'll watch Dead Alive tonight and then watch your video.
Sadly, I think that having watched this review might ruin a big part of it. Like the first time I watched “Society” because rumor was that it is really weird. Had no idea what it was about or what would be in it, but the shock was a big part of the fun.
@@cobes11 I hear you! However, I watched NewBee's Midsommar review before I watched the movie and I think it added even MORE to the movie so... I'm gonna take a chance on it. Normally though, I agree with you! I usually don't like movies to be spoiled.
@Mr. The Troll Face I didn't watch the original Wicker Man until after I'd seen Midsommar. Holy MOLY I loved THAT movie too! I saw some weird thing called Wicker Tree (I think) that was supposed to be a follow up to the original. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BADDDDDDDDDDDDD but damn it was funny. If you haven't seen it and you like super shitty movies, you should watch it. I think it's even worse than the nicolas Cage version. ENJOY! 🤣
fisrt time watching this with a friend was magical..I had never expected..as a huge comicbook lover I like how this is all worked out..and thanks for that: with a lot of humor and sillyness..
Lionel’s punch soo reminded me of George McFly! I think Peter Jackson likes rebirths because he did something similar in Bad Taste! I remember watching this in the early 2000’s and for some reason was never grossed out but now I find myself squinting my eyes, scrunching my nose and saying “awww fu*k” every five minutes! Keep the jokes up mate :)
This is one of my favorites movies because it knows how to keep the light romantic tone even though it's one of the goriest movies ever. You should review Meet the Feebles, another early Peter Jackson film. It's another shockfest but it's well written and the puppetry is great. It's very obscure so it would be cool if more people knew about it.
I watched a movie when I was young where someone was buried up to their neck in someone's yard and someone came along with a lawnmower and killed the person then said a one liner, could any horror buff help me find what the name of this movie is?
We rented this on vhs on new year's eve of 1996. It was awesomely bad and hilariously memorable. That ass kicking priest is a standout and I still think about this absurd movie occasionally. I remember being shocked to see that Peter Jackson was the director.
I adore this movie ever since I saw this way back in the 90's when it came out on the big screen. (sidenote, dont eat a Doner Kebap whilst watching this movie if you dont want to die from suffocation). Doner Kebap hardest laughter = possible death ! Oh and by the way, this movie was and still is in the Guiness book of records for the highest amount of artificial blood being used in one sequence (3 guesses which), and guess which company was responsible for that, ofcourse the same that would have loved to give it their all in Lord of the Rings, had it not been for them aiming at an "R"-rating. This is why I consider WETA the coolest of all special effects companies out there. Oh and Kudos to you on that comment about the Nun chucks.
Don’t blame Loki jumping off your lap, I have a dog who does the same while I am watching these films, throws me a really? look and sleeps far away from me 😂😂😂
1:10 Cage lands against the left side of his face, and yet... 1:19 ...a bite ends up on the right side of his forehead. "Do you expect me to believe that you don't know your left from your right?!" 2:03 Sam Raimi and Peter Jackson both drew inspirado from Ray Harryhausen. 3:08 I once suggested that my college buddies name their band "Stillborn Pancreas." 6:01 I always thought he looked kinda like Tim Thomerson, so I made a vid where I spliced Trancers music into that one scene: ruclips.net/video/93LFiCZlXmk/видео.html 7:09 His fighting style looks like Taekwondo. It's definitely not Kung Fu. He doesn't go for circular motion and he relies mostly on legwork. Mostly hard impact strikes with a few takedowns for good measure. 7:28 Your puns rival Mike Bracken's (aka "The Horror Geek")! XD 7:38 Not Kung Fu. Don't know for sure, but it's most likely Taekwondo. I was an assistant Taekwondo instructor once upon a time. Represent! 7:50 Came out in 1992, same year as 'Army of Darkness'. Story takes place in 1957, four years before Peter Jackson was born. 11:58 I made one for that scene too (with Freaked music instead of Trancers): ruclips.net/video/9EV7t8xxvXI/видео.html 12:50 Probably because she was directly bitten by the rat monkey of demented do0m.
Is it just me or this channel is just addictive
Yes?
Not just you. 🥰
Hi my name is Rincewind and I'm a Newbee-holic
It's DEFINITELY just you.
I KIDDDDDDDDDD!!! 😆🤣😁
"I kick ass for the lord" that line is pretty funny
I really liked kung fu priest. It was disappointing that he didn't live long enough to show up at the party with holy hand grenades or something.
@@annegrey6447 IKR!
@Mr. The Troll Face Man, that would be beyond awesome to watch!
This channel is the very definition of underated. Its like going to a restaurant that not many eat at, and getting the best food you have ever had.
Today is the 8-year anniversary of the passing of my dearest Uncle. This was his FAVORITE movie. The pudding scene would make him laugh until he cried.
The timing here is crazy.
Thank you so much for this...
RIP Unky Umar. He kicks ass for the Lord now.
"Haven't seen Mum yet" with that zoom in was epic
She thought the cards gave her a quirky wimp. But he revealed he's an awesome asset in a zombie apocalypse & he found a woman who could hold her own & didn't care he almost caused the apocalypse.

soothing voice and dry humor- just what i needed
Oh man "I kick-ass for the lord" is such a funny and totaly random thing haha.
13:29 *"Somewhere Sigmund Freud is going YaAaAaHhHh!"* I can't 😂😂
I had no idea Peter Jackson made this movie until now. My new all-time favorite director.
I love Loki's little concerned face judging us all for enjoying such a gross movie.
my favorite movie and my favorite youtuber, i must be dreaming
I love that he reviewed this movie. I've been watching it since I was 12 and no one knows about it. Im 36 now and its still my shit.
"I kick ass for the lord!"
Same here only I was 15 and now 34🤣
LOL...why does this movie make me think of my husband? Such a momma' s boy! (Love you Loki!!) (Kinda wish the guy who played the priest in this movie could've played Father Callahan in Salem' s Lot, tbh) Great review !!! :)
We always need more Loki! I love seeing him in the videos ❤️
This movie is a masterpiece.
I always think of his muppet show parody... Meet The Feebles. One of the better gross out films I’ve seen.
Maybe he will review this one next? :-)
The junky lizard knife thrower, rabbit with syphilis, that movie is amazing. Thank you Blockbusters for not realizing what it was and renting it to a eight year old because if it's puppets it's gotta be in the kids section.
@@ronaldowens5025 holy shit. I saw it in my 20s and I thought it was fucked up.
That must have been a real trip for your
30 years old!
This is some of the best 80s schlock

Off putting for most but a dream come true for gorehounds being a black comedy
Has enough of a light tone amidst all the blood splattered on screen along with a sweet romance
Huh, so this movie is where Plants Vs Zombies got the whole lawnmower thing from.
You don't know how long I have patiently waited for this review to happen.
I remember watching this with a friend of mine on VHS back in the day - it was just nasty as hell and tough to get through. Except for the ninja Priest. He's cool.
Hahahahaha!! I love this channel...the carrot eating was perfectly timed 😄
I am always looking for your new reviews, thank you!

Too funny, same with me! Only difference, I loved the movie when I saw it (just forgot the title 😆💓)
u werent the only to make that mistake 🤣
"I kick ass for the Lord" the most brilliant line in history whoever came up with that has my respect.
still loving "bad taste" & "the frighteners" too !
gotta love the jackson !
Been waiting for someone to do a review, and boy am I glad it's the newbee! Love you man, you remind me of a high school teacher I really liked :^)
Ive said it before and ill say it again great flippin channel
Great content and I would love to see you review the bills have eyes 👀.
I paused it when the ear fell off! I didn't flinch at the Serbian 4 years ago. I think all this study has made me mellow. I'll watch Dead Alive tonight and then watch your video.
Great movie, not watched it in years I'm sure i have it on dvd somewhere need to give it another watch soon.
Omg your jokes are great! Love this channel. A classic film. Not many channels covered it. :) thank you.
For the Newbee, 4.5 is a pretty pretty good rating (imagine this spoken with Larry David voice). I am glad he once more proves impeccable taste.
Helloooo good sir. ! Great content as usual. NUNchuks - THE BEST EVER
I love this movie and I love you Newbee!!!
Dead alive is my very favorite. But the ending is almost like they ran out of money and were like "giant zombie house, yeah that works"
How much blood? Yes! 🩸
I've been watching your content for years man keep it up it's great🐝
I really love this channel and I have never seen this but it reminds me alot of evil dead in some ways with the comical gore
I have used the line "The rat monkey has a taste for bitch" in real life. Thank you, Bee!! 😂😂
I love your content you are so hilarious keep up the great work
Ooh can you reveiw the lovely bones. I can only find a few videos on it
Delicatessen is another weird one that I think Jackson did too.
Also I caught the Monty Python reference around 4 minutes in. Well done.
OMG I had no idea that this movie was this weird. I'm gonna watch it tonight!
It is a must.

Great breakdown. I’d like to see your thoughts/review on The Evil Within 🤓
Cool review!))
How about Meet the Feebles 1989?
You're the best movie reviewer EVER
that whole mother thing reminded me of that Steve Buscemi movie "Ed and His Dead Mother
".
Genius comedy horror you can watch again and again. That's my review!
asking NewBee again to do review of Evil Dead
I love this movie!! Bloody wonderland of awesomeness gory fun!! Skull Island home of Samarian Rat Monkey and King Kong! Well played Pete Jackson.
This is one of my favorites movies because it knows how to keep the light romantic tone even though it's one of the goriest movies ever.

If she'd have thrown up in the "pudding"(3:26) would it still have been eaten😕
I watched a movie when I was young where someone was buried up to their neck in someone's yard and someone came along with a lawnmower and killed the person then said a one liner, could any horror buff help me find what the name of this movie is?
back in the day, i coincided this a date movie, they would show it a few times a month at a local theater, double feature with "meet the feebles".
"I'm including The Hobbit" - You are a man of taste sir. I quite like this film, but I saw it after watching Lord of the Rings. Was a bit of a shock!
I love this movie so much, it has a special place in my heart. I think I requested this review forever ago and it's as glorious as it hoped😃
I kick ass for the lord is such a great line

Can you do a review of heavenly creatures? Now you’ve mentioned it you sort of have to!! 😩🥺
You’ve done one Peter Jackson movie yes, but what about second Peter Jackson review? Bad Taste? The Frighteners?
I love this channel ❤️
Hey Bee..can I get a Shout out From your next Video plss??
Get a sponsor and do "Meet the Feebles" next please!!
Very few things will disrupt my eating, but that dinner sequence with the bloody pus in the pudding..? Yup.. *that* did the trick, lol!
Where is the custard?

I really like your reviews , can you do antrum . Please
...amazing Monty Python slide in there, my man ❤️
You just had to show that 'pudding' scene didn't you...
For me, this is Peter Jackson's masterpiece.
Fun fact,,,,,, NewBee called this chaotic movie an cartoon 😀😀😀😀
Where should I go to suggest movies to review?
Four and a half bees out of five for a zombie movie... Did I die and go to heaven ?
You should review Possession from 1981. It's weird.
Way to make the movie bearable...lol you crack me up 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I watched this movie when I was 9 and it became a favorite afterwards 🙂
Love the Newbee
I remember watching this movie when I was 7 years old.
Similar to Ed and his dead mother starring Steve Buscemi.
Review the house that jack built!!!
I looooove this movie!! And I cry every time i watch shaun of the dead
The fighting priest. Remember the abrahamic god is a tribal war god.
