    I'm not in. I have a few underquilts, and I'm Canadian. I'm a new subscriber and I just wanted to say that you're awesome for picking a site based on the need to pick up after ignorant Aholes. I really believe that if people don't see any trash around, then they'll be less likely to leave any themselves, so thank you, you're definitely part of the solution out there.

      @Danny Bockius thanks bro! Maybe in the future if I ever have hiking boots worth talking about for snow hiking lol. Currently I just use my Ozark Trail snow boots with winter gators or my hiking shoes with the gators. And when I’m hiking in snow in usually using snow shoes with my hiking shoes and gators. @Clark Savage we both like it so far. Guy lines are very cheap, like cloth line cordage, it’s a little small when completely closed also, more for one person when closed up. For this trip we left it open and covered the ends with tarps making much bigger and it worked great. I have a lot of videos in the works at the moment but I’ll try my best to get one up of this.

      @@AdventureswithSpackmann I picked it because it seemed to be better quality than some of the other kits available on Amazon, and a little more expensive. This was before they came out with the one that doesn't have the bugnet fully attached. I like that it came with shock cord for the bugnet instead of paracord. Was my first setup a few years ago and I still use it as often as I can. There are some upgrades I want in my next hammock after having it for a while if I ever get one, but I sleep like a baby in it every time and comfortable for my size (5'7"). So you already know I wanted to try the quilt whenthey were released.

      @Backpacking with Buckley that’s the Hammock hot tent from Pomoly. It’s canvas which I like. If you end up closing the doors completely, to help keep it warm and get hot, it’s rather small and only really for one person in my opinion. We open the ends and cover them with tarps making the usable space much larger. Budget gear that works is always a plus. Thanks for watching bro

    • @AdventureswithSpackmann
      @AdventureswithSpackmann  2 года назад +1

      @John Chandler that’s a great idea for testing it. But yes the underquilt is what stopped the air from under us making us cold. In my opinion. I haven’t slept in a hammock in while maybe it’s time for another test. Thanks for watching

      @@JohnChandler2006 I didn’t at all. Sorry if my response led you to believe so. Underquilts or a sleeping pad are needed for insulating under you from the cold. The insulation in the sleeping bag you use gets compressed by laying on it and especially on a down bag, loft is key. This quilt is a good option for none freezing temperatures pair with a properly rated sleeping bag or top quilt. Enjoy it with your family bro!
