Bad Ending Theme
"Alvis...YOU BASTARD!"
This is the theme for the bad ending and the Chapter 5 spoilers from Fire Emblem 4. Seisen no Keifu. It is actually a melody of the first generation chapter and character themes. Once I figure out which song is which, I'll post 'em ehre!
How to Obtain: Get less than an "A" overall in rankings and the obvious in Chapter 5.

I just got to this part today, and now the tears won't stop flowing. This is truly a hard-hitting moment in this series. Sigurd has been put through a lot of pain and had to start many wars just to help protect the people he loved. He wanted to do stuff peacefully, and wanted to stop the suffering of the common people. He got framed and he finally thought that his struggle was over, and he was able to find his wife. But instead, he got killed for doing what was right. Now he needs to entrust the foundations for a better future that he built with his comrades to his kids, and the few comrades left alive.
Man I really wish I could've seen this blind. It already hit pretty hard, but to see it without being spoiled beforehand would've hit so much harder.
The fact that the song has every map theme, made sad versions of them, and combined them into one piece makes this song hurt even more than if it was a track with an original tune...
I get you. Like their whole journey led them to this sad fate.

Disturbance in Agustria was the only one I heard during my playthrough. Maybe because it sounds more distinct.

Why does this make my heart ache
This is the most emotion ive felt towards Arden
Hype The flaws of the plot at this moment distracted me too much to feel anything
Damn. Even knowing exactly what was going to happen because of all the "haha funny Zigludo Belhalla barbecue" memes, this moment really hit me hard. Seeing the entire army that you came to know and love get incinerated and scattered to the four winds is something Fire Emblem games just don't do. It really leaves you with a feeling of uncertainty and dread like no other. Sigurd and his friends all died, lost their memories, got turned to stone, or were forced into hiding, and the wider world still sees them as traitors. Everything they did was for nothing. Shouzou Kaga's game design may be questionable, but damn if the man doesn't know how to tell a compelling story. Makes it all the more satisfying when you start Chapter 6 and begin your journey to get back at Arvis and Manfroy for all the hell they put you through.
Man, every time I listen to this song it’s like “ok it’s pretty sad” and then birth of a holy knight starts playing and I instantly start tearing up.

This is one of the saddest songs I ever heard in a video game. It makes my heart aches with frustation, rage, and sadness.
Nothing could have been done to save them, nothing. Just imagine everyone struggling, in their last breath ,only trying to achieve a way to survive. This picture would say that Arden is trying to save Sigurd even with his grave injuries.
It is, in fact, depressing.

I never played Fe4, but I've seen some lets play and I really liked the 1st generation (Love Arden) and then, boom. They die. Not even a death like hanging or getting stabbed, they were crushed by meterorites and Sigurd was burned alive. Like c'mon man, that's the thing that gets me sad and mad. They died in a such a horrible way...

The entire last minute and half genuinely fell like that Sigurd s Soul left him in that exact moment,A liberation to everything that happened and the end of an Hero.
The music disappears,Sigurd left the world in the exact moment.
I haven't even played the damn game and I'm still sad. A truly good song tells a story without words to tell it
I highly recommend it if you haven't played it by now. If you haven't, Snes9x is a good emulator, and the Project Naga translation of the game is the best one out there (the game doesn't have an official English translation).

@@naeshaunedwards7731 I'd recommend you to play it now on an emulator with the project naga translation. As a fe4 fan I can't wait for a remake, but trust me when I say the base game while old is legendary. The only fire emblem game that has made me shed tears 🙏

I can't avoid hearing Arvis's leitmotif from Emperor Arvis during 1:30
I’m going to need this game to get a remake announcement in the next Nintendo Direct which should be in the fall

Is it wrong that when I hear this, it doesn't make me sad, but it makes me think of another song that got me into music that is a very upbeat song, although it starts with a dreary intro with a riff similar to the constant one playing during this song.

Well. It isn't exactly known. While he did technically get hit with meteors along with the rest of the army before Sigurd got torched, the game does say that the armies fate is unknown. To my knowledge we only got a few confirmed deaths.
