Tony's Tutorial yeah sure sir I know it.. now am watching ankle complex after completing hip and knee complex... all of your videos are very clear... thank you sir
Wonderful explanation sir👏👏 Great simplified lecture 👌good job sir👍 I am eagerly waiting for ur new lectures... Especially Nueroanatomy classes...Thank u for ur great work sir...
Nice class sir👌👌i don't get anything to say.... realllllllyyyy it is nice one and easy to catch.... thank you soooooo much sir🤗🤗🤗🤗.... and expect more classes... keep going well🙌🙌
Super class sir 👌👌👌 it is the more and more energetic class 🤝 nice explanation and demonstration, sir plz add pictures of clinical conditions 😊😊 thanks sir thanks for making 👍👍👍
Hi Tony.. would you suggest athlete to dorsiflex at ankle joint while doing long jump as to avoid ankle jnjury ? To prepare for dorsiflexion at the time of parabolic movement and land with dorsiflexors activated. Because plantar flexors need activated at the time of jump to give more extension at ankle and get more ground reaction force. Thank you.
no not really....bcz its better to keep the body in its natural orientation during any movement, rather than keeping foot in dorsiflexion. Yes plantar flexion is at peak at pushoff phase of gait....any form of gait...and its needed one too.... And athlete have his or her freedom to land of rear foot, mid foot or forefoot touching ground, I m not aware wther any one form of landing has any advantage. May be it has, have to look in to....some studies do show its better to land on full foot rather than any rear or ball of feet, just to give better weight distribution
@@TonysTutorial I read hindfoot landing is advisable. Different research different views...May be activation of dorsiflexor during parabolic flight of long jumper will help while landing as to give stability to talocrural joint as well as there co-contraction with eccentric contraction of plantar flexors while landing as to absorb the ground reaction force. This is research thing. Might be some result on it. Or now you will be doing 100s of such researches now )) thank you and all the best.
@@shailkumarjain amazing thanks for showing up this....ya hind foot is the basic landing or gait position so its would defiantly be preferred, and yes dorsiflexors have a definite role in stabilisation of joint. Read some more comparing whether whole foot landing or rear foot is more advantageous...if u get any idea on it dont hesitate to mention thnk u
I was slight engaged... about open and closed chain kinematics right, open chain kinematics are movements in which the distal End of segment is free to move about and the muscle activation is usually from Proximal to distal segment, where as in closed chain the distal segment is bounded and not free to move around further muscle action is from distal to proximal usually.
Sir u said lateral malleoli is slightly posterior but in this video u said medial malleoli is slightly posterior now Im confused please correct me if I'm wrong
Amazing explanatn.... Expecting more nd more excllent classes frm you sir.... .. Eagerly waiting for your neuroanatomy classes

Sir could u teach us exercise therapy 🙂🙂
Hello sir 🙏
Could you please tell me about open and closed chain kinematics in ankle joint ??? in a simplified way as you always do☺️☺️
Sure i will get bck to you
Ok sir ☺️
Sir????

End of segment is free to move about and the muscle activation is usually from
Proximal to distal segment, where as in closed chain the distal segment is bounded and not free to move around further muscle action is from distal to proximal usually.
Okk sir that means...
Open chain movements are in non weight bearing
And close chain movements are in weight bearing..
Is this right????
