Such a cute and sweet guy! I'll never really understand why he has played so many villains, to me he was never better than when he played the badasses with a kind heart, like Reese and Hicks and it's mostly because of those characters that he'll always be remembered. I wish I had seen more of him in those heroic roles.
Nothing about him doesn't leak out sexiness. His eyes, complexion, skin, hair color, built, voice, smartness, manners, and acting skills. Now that he's older but he looks just as good and lean. I really hope he reads this, so he knows the support he's getting from around the world. I'm sure he does though.
i dont get all the people saying he ''never hit it big" or "could have been A list" you have to realize that he was a part of several of the biggest most classic 80's movies and a few of the best 90's movies also... he IS IS IS IS an A-list actor !! he has had an amazing career (in my eyes). i hate to think that anyone, especially Michael, thinks otherwise.
I 5think he knows he was in alot of dud films too though, or just didn't get offered as many great parts as others. But as someone who has friends who can sustain themselves well from acting in commercials and sitcoms even making 1 movie a year he'd be earning enough and doing ok, and he usually did at least 2 a year even post The Rock when he as mainly cast in subpar films. He's still kicking on though, he loves it, alot of others acting since the 70s have given up..
You´re so right! He totally stole the whole Terminator saga for me, who cares about Arnold S when there´s a character like Kyle Reese wonderfully portrayed by this man?
I only know Michael from that movie deadly intentions 1988 came out playing murderous doctor.. yep I guess Michael has a fetish for dying scenes this villain I never seen the other movies yet but it ends up getting killed right so I guess he just loves to lay on the floor riddled with bullets or whatever a bomb blows him up? Or maybe gets done in with a sword or spear or Trident if he played a gladiator movie admit make a sexy looking retiarius
I agree, the Exorcist still scares the crap out of me too. The Exorcist to me is the most scariest & most realistic movie I've ever seen in my life. I've seen this movie when I was a kiddo but it still has the same effect on me as an adult till this day. 😧
@1sushicheese1 They're filming the interview from different angles. If you watch a typical TV interview, you'll notice that the interviewer and interviewee and both shown from at least two different perspectives.
I work in a TV studio, and the last 3 minutes actually do make sense -- what they're doing is basically creating a B-Roll, just in case they dislike the original takes of the lines, they can substitute the B-Roll footage into the interview. [It's a common technique, and you'd be surprised how little you'd notice it. Almost every single modern talk show uses this technique, often on a basis of about once every two episodes.]
He is so cute! People, on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a 10, and 1 being not "dateable," and if Paul Walker is a 10, then where would you put the 1986 Michael Biehn? I would say an 8, but, hey! That's me.
I didn't know his last name was German. Cool! I have something in common with him, as my last name is also German. Oh! And, "The Exorcist," scares me so much, I've never made it through the entire movie.
If you wanna here something cool, here it is. I'm actually related to this guy because we are both part German and my last name is Biehn. IM NOT LYING.
@oralagreement It's because of all the REALLY big "other staring roles" he for some crazy reason or another didn't get. He was up for: -The bad guy in Terminator 2 -Starring role as Hicks in Alien3 (awesome script got canned). -Peter Parker in Spider Man -McManus in the Usual Suspects -Colonel Quitric in Avatar -plus many others that I cant recall. I'm sure some other people will repost some. I seem to remember something about him Playing Cyclops in XMen too.
just a random observation, you can tell that he's really nice and easy to get along with and probably sensitive as a result. it is usually those type guys (like myself) that are carrying inner pain when them and end up drinking or doing something else to cope. im not surprised by his alcoholism, especially when you consider that actors can have many weeks if not months of time off between projects. how do you fill your time?? ALCOHOL
@Hellothasauras you have seriously intregued me with your comment about gibson,m8.what would have happened to hicks and bishop HAD the gibson script been used?
I wonder if he had alcohol problems at this time...I mean he is a laid back guy generally...but here he is well laid back. A bit Over the top. I'm really sad for Michael Biehn because he never became the leading man tbh. If Alien 3 had followed the Gibson script he would of rose to A in everyones eyes. Not just his fans. Really annoys me. He should of been in Alien 3!! Massive movie, could of been his second breakthrough.
@Hellothasauras I saw an interview with him on youtube and he went on saying that later on in his career he didn't like the fame so he started picking small movies over big budget movies, he apparntly turned down a role in the usual suspects, lethal weapon, and so many other big action movies in the 90s, but yeah i would have liked to have seen him go more mainstream but thats michael and hes great in everything : )
He was an alcoholic too so probably didn't do him alot of favours in that rough period through the 90s. Big agencies are less likely to cast someone they might think will be problematic.
@bek12 haha, when I took a production class last year, one of our projects were to do an interview. The process they taught us was exactly like this. These days however, it's not as common to do it in this way, since they film and entire interview live with two cameras pointed at an interviewee and the interviewer and just edit it together later. But yeah this is how they did it in the old days (and to an extent some still do it this way)
@tharding4 Not really. It's just a bit of info I picked up from watching a few TV shows (e.g.there's a Simpsons episode which refers to this film technique) and director's commentaries. I'm no film expert, that's for sure.
The art and design of alien was higher quality than aliens, jim sacrificed a bit of quality because of the scope of the movie was MUCH bigger than alien thats taking nothing away from aliens its a masterpiece. Alien is more an art directors movie, it had fewer sets and special fx so they had more money and ridley scott to make it look visually stimulating. In a way its unfair to compare them both films are equally good but for different reasons and thats ok! they are completely different genres
On his wiki page and and in the trivia section on the T2 IMDB page. He was suppose to be in about a billion movies that were hugely successfu... Aliens yeah
"Look... you have heard enough, I have answered your questions .. why am I talking to you?! who is in authority here!?"
lol!!!
He had and still has a beautiful voice.
Great actor. I love all of his work. Aliens was DA BOMB!!!

@@hemmy1259 No he is not in this film
oh, you beautiful, beautiful man!
He's actually in his 60s
@@marvelguy2001 Yes, now.
God he was gorgeous! Can't believe he became an alcoholic. He is still hanging in there which is good to see.
real good looking man. i'm not gay.
My thoughts exactly. Straight, but is man enough to say he's looks handsome in an awesome way.
he reminds me in his handsomeness timothy olyphant
Could play good or bad guy despite his good looks.
@@geocache99 I say Peter Frampton : )
Omg, he’s the most sweet and beautiful man I’ve seen in my hole life, just love him
He is nice looking.

What a sweetheart and a sexy man!!
Beautiful. Beautiful voice too.
This is an awesome interview, I never saw one with him until now. Really laid back guy, and chill - the way a man should be
He was so dreamy!
Those eyes...he can work them too....bellissimo
Great interview...a rare interview...awkward at times, but such a treat.
Thank you for uploading!
Finally know how to say his name. Thank you lady lol. And thank you "Bean" for letting us know.
omg. He can do WHATEVER he wants to me.
😅
0:01 That look in his eyes!
That woman lost her mind right away.
Funny to watch :-)
🤩😃
8.40 you can hear him help the interviewer out with her questions....sweet :)
Michael is awesome
Criminally overlooked actor, he is the scene stealer in everything he is in. Cameron give him the lad villain role in Avatar 2 - 3.
Wow, GREAT find!! I'm tempted to share this link with Jennifer Blanc-Biehn. She really gets a kick out of his older stuff. ;-) Thanks for sharing!
The ending, lol wtf
I used to have the love scene of him in Terminator on repeat for about 10 times and pretending I was Linda Hamilton's character
I just did that. I know how you feel.
thanks for putting this up
She lost her head at the end, Michael probably left the room after he realized.

He felt The Exorcist was real because he is called to be one...A spirit filled Deliverer!
A LOT of people are alcoholics - this man is a legend!!!!!!!!
Good looking guy that could play good or bad.

this is the same room as another interview with him. wtf?
Loved him as Charles raynor in deadly intentions.
He was awesome in The Fan.
Right...Johnny Ringo...he stole that film as well.Hypnotic.
Michael Beihn looks like young Luke Skywalker so much!
Good to hear! Very pleased for him.
It's a Cyborg!!..........Cybernetic Organism!!!
Theshark15z No, he was bleeding
Something about young Michael Biehn reminds me of Mark Hamill. (Luke Skywalker)
haha so wierd seeing the pick ups and reverse angles at the end, the interviewer must feel a right wally interviewing an empty chair
WOWWWWW. Good fine.
should of been in Alien 3
MIKEY CHAINSAW Agreed, the studio should have waited for Cameron to be available to make another Alien movie
Michael Biehn excelent actor age 70,80,and 90 .
Hey, Mike. You look just like i feel, man!
plus Aliens is THE single greatest sequel of all time!!!!!!
he was a pretty guy, with his sexy mouth
I never heard him answer any of her questions the last few minutes

Fersomling.. Michael Biehn a 10 for me he has a masculine structured handsome face, where as Paul Walker a cute pretty boy face an 8.
definately in the top 10 of best sci-fi actors!
Michael was da man.
the exorcist is still the scariest movie :)
