I generally decorate for Fall/Halloween with a wreath, leaf garland hanging from my door lights on either side of the door and mum's on the steps. I do add for Halloween. Well, really all I do is add pumpkins😂. I swear I did something! I do have a light up crystal ball(from Home Goods 2020) that talks that I bring out for the trick or treaters🤗. They love it!!! A kinda sorta party...I provide a simple dinner prior to going out to trick or treat and after we watch Hocus Pocus in the backyard and cook s'mores. I don't have children but my friends bring their children to my house because I live in a big established neighborhood and those always have the BEST CANDY! It is the most magical time of the year for me♥️... I live near my family, but it has been hard these last couple years not seeing them because they are older and I have severe asthma so I have not been seeing them as I use to(we have been safer than sorry about Ms Rona). Hopefully that continues to change this year, but decorating has helped me channel my isolation into joy. I hope you get a chance to go home this year and see your whole family too♥️
Oh yes, thats part of why we went to my aunts, they lived in the "GOOD" neighborhood lol and yes time definitely change things.. I think its about making the best of it according to the time it is and that will change too

I Made mine thicker too because my hair grows long. when I transitioned from relaxer to Natural. I never cut the straightened hair off. Lol--- half nappy, half straight! I'm loving the large lantern, pillows, pumpkin and vanilla scents, and the garland. Dallas goes directly from sweltering to cold with extremely humid days between. Thus, anything I sit outdoors will mold. Eww! You did a beautiful haul and I enjoyed shopping with you. I've got some pumpkin puree I plan on making pumpkin spice bread.
Halloween was and still is my favorite, I was a witch for years as a kid lol the most fun times going to school Halloween parties and going to the fancy side of town to get the good candy 😂 good ol days
The wreath is very pretty, I say return it because the material the wreath is made of will easily mildew especially if you are going to put it in the kitchen over the stove. If you decide to keep it, maybe try and spray it with an enamel to seal it to help keep the moisture out of it.
Hey all! Shanda, your hair is thriving! The only thing I do for fall is replace the lavender plants I've had all spring and summer, with autumn-colored flowers for the two planters on my front porch; so it's nice seeing what's in stores and watch someone else go all out. Thanks!
Nice haul ❤️. Buy some clear spray sealant to spray on the baskets so that they will be strong throughout the years in the elements of the seasons. They will last and you just have to spray them periodically to keep the protected coat on them.

Nice haul. When you pulled out the garland I was like I would use some of leaves for the wreath and when you said something about using some the wreath for it I was like yay. The dirt doesn't bother me but it's those leaves is something else. That rug is a no for me....I'm just not feeling it for some reason. That wreath from Michael's is giving life.
