Mr. Cameraman. While it is common to do those little zoom in-zoom out thingys in short clips with a runtime of roughly 20 seconds shot with a phone, but for longer types of content it is actually very distracting and annoying. I am very happy with this meet up, because it involves my two favorite car content creators, but I had to switch to a different tab to be able to enjoy the content.
Also agreed. It just feels like it's someone who doesn't really know what they're doing and feels they should do more so is zooming in and out for no reason. If it's a one take interview with one camera, leave well alone. If you want more variety of shots, add extra cameras
Absolutely spectacular video! One bit of constructive feedback is to maybe have one or two stationary cameras for RUclips and then a separate camera for the Snapchat, TikTok & Insta videos. It is quite disorienting to watch as relaxing long-form RUclips content. Other than that it was amazing, keep it up! 👊
Yea the Hellcat when it first came out. I think Doug needed new underwear after that. It actually did a really good job of showing just how nuts the Hellcat is.
Horrible camera work. I just can’t watch this. A professional legend like Doug, does not deserve to be interviewed by such amateurs. It’s just not his level.
At long last - I sit down with the car king of RUclips Doug DeMuro! You can listen to this full episode as podcast audio for your drives here anchor.fm/itsdanielmac/episodes/What-Doug-DeMuro-Does-For-A-Living-e1v4340
So glad to see these Doug interviews popping up lately. Great video! I would mention, like a couple others have, that the constant zooming in and out of the camera is a little distracting/disorienting. Congrats to both of you on the new porsches though!
Great chat and thrilled for both you. As a 53 year old who has been the same business since 89, you certainly should take chances and mix it up in life. I’m kind of married to my industry and wish I had more diversification.
I didn't know about Doug until a few of months when a random video of him reviewing a (iirc) Koenigsegg was algorithmically suggested to me. Couple months later Doug has rocketed to my top three favorite RUclipsrs and I'm really not even into cars (I can't even drive, lol). It's just the way he speaks and presents that's very entertaining and at the same time informative to watch and he's so good at this stuff that by just watching his reviews after couple of months I got familiarized with automotive terms that I honestly didn't care about before. He's just the perfect guy to learn from when it comes to these vlogging and automotive stuff. What a very likeable guy. More success to him and his team.
He's the king because as opposed to others, he knows a lot about what he's talking about, shit is like an encyclopedia while other content creators are like "look how cool this thing looks" 🤣
@itsdanielmac The video interview was great, however the video itself was at times unwatchable. Who ever is doing your video can not keep zooming in and out like they did, its absolutely dizzying. If they left the camera static it would be better. Its one thing on a 1 minute tick tock, its another on a 40 minute RUclips video.
Me remembering Doug almost spinning streetspeed 717's challenger hellcat before he started doing the content he's known for now. (Doug's main stomping ground was where I grew up at the same time car youtubers were becoming a thing. The CarMax he took his R32 was like a half mile from my house, and he brought his R32 GTR at Cherry Hill Nissan for a video once, so I'd watch his videos and hope I saw him irl one day completely randomly, and then he moved to San Diego, but I'm pretty sure I saw him coming the other way just after the Tappenzee bridge in 2018 on 287 where it meets the Garden State Parkway right after he bought his NA Defender).
You have to know how to distinguish between TikTok and RUclips, both the zooming in and out and the questions… more narrative and not just clickbait questions. Sorry but had to say it
This is a cool chat but the guy clearly had his questions and just followed that structure rather than engaging in actual conversation. Once Doug answered a question he just asks the next
This is amazing and couldn’t have been more unexpected. At his house no less! I’ve been wanting a house tour since he moved in there. Can you make that happen too?
kind of amazing we live in a world that a person can make a living shooting videos, put "videographer" or god forbid "cinematographer" on their resume, and turn out a video that looks like this
What an awesome interview and amazing insight on Doug’s life and career! I like the way Doug thinks and it’s no wonder he’s been in the game this long and maintained such a dedicated following!
Dude, why can’t you just keep the camera still for once?? Through this whole 40 minute video, the camera just keeps zooming in and out every couple of seconds and it’s just so annoying.

Unwatchable. Did the 5 year old who wrote fast and the furious shoot this? ruclips.net/video/iIY5b1JMvGs/видео.html
it’s shockingly bad camera work. makes it almost unwatchable
There was not even a need for a camera man. Just place a cam and thats it.
Wow the zoom in zoom out is as if we have a 5 sec attention span.
Understand that podcast listeners can sit still for 1hr+
An amazing interview that’s overshadowed by the horrible camera

Trying to remember the car but Doug was driving without traction control. Lost a little control but still saved it. Great interview 👍 👏
It was StreetSpeed717’s Hellcat Challenger!
Yea the Hellcat when it first came out. I think Doug needed new underwear after that. It actually did a really good job of showing just how nuts the Hellcat is.
it was the reason he chose to get his own special insurance.
Also the sign of a driver who knows what he’s doing. He turns into the skid when he loses traction. Sign of a true professional.
Cameraman taking the generational term ‘Zoomer’ to a whole new level…
Underrated
Horrible camera work. I just can’t watch this. A professional legend like Doug, does not deserve to be interviewed by such amateurs. It’s just not his level.
Man I would die to hangout and just have a conversation with Doug. He seems so down to earth.
No you wouldn’t.
Yes he would dingus
That videography gave me eye ache. LOL.
Btw ❤️🔥 Doug from Bangladesh 🇧🇩

Maybe next time you get rid of the camera guy and just put it on a tripod.
Camera is terrible! Gave me a headache.
The camera guy need to calm down on the zoom. It’s a static interview, set it and forget it man. Lol
Hey ! Really good interview but the zooms made me dizzy 😅
So glad to see these Doug interviews popping up lately. Great video! I would mention, like a couple others have, that the constant zooming in and out of the camera is a little distracting/disorienting. Congrats to both of you on the new porsches though!

Hey cameraman, stop zooming in and zooming out all the time.
Bro definitely left out his incident in a hellcat on purpose lmao
Dough *breaths*
Daniel -"WOW, Crazy, Yeah!!"
Loving these interviews Daniel! Keep going and follow your passion its great to see you do what you love and not just following the statistics.
I took a drink every time Daniel said the word "like." I'm now dead.
So cool to see Doug’s CGT in the background.
This was a really great interview. Well done
I offered my car for Doug to review a few years back. He answered my email quickly and was super nice.
I love that video format / informal chat. It is so refreshing to see this.
BRO THE CAMERA MAN IS ASSSSS WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT LOL
Actually mad respect for Daniel Mac. First video I've seen of his besides short ones, seems like a cool guy actually into cars.
Super video 👍 Hello from dj SAVAGE-44 🎹
He's the king because as opposed to others, he knows a lot about what he's talking about, shit is like an encyclopedia while other content creators are like "look how cool this thing looks" 🤣
Sit the camera on a tripod and LEAVE IT ALONE!
Camera man: i found this zoom button. Wonder what that does.
Good to see Doug back doing an interview but the camera zooming back and forth was a bit 😬😬😬
Yeah it is man
Daniel Mac's Interview: tell me you haven't seen a lot of Doug's videos without telling me you haven't seen a lot of Doug's videos.
Camera operator needs to set the camera and then leave it alone. They make a great interview very difficult to watch.

Look at Doug, rightfully paying it forward. Nicely done DanielMac, and all around! Love this! And am jealous, somewhat.

Where tf did he get this cameraman
I played this through headphones without watching the visual distractions- great content! Doug is a legend
Holy shit the cameraman needs to STOP
I discovered Doug back in 17 when he reviewed a VW Phaeton. I thought he was like a forty five year old dad. Needless to say, the rest is history.
You made my dream come true. Meeting Doug himself!
He needs to get his hands on a clk gtr and a 190e evo II
Why is the camera person constantly zooming in and out and in and out and in and out ?
Can you hold that camera still for ONE SECOND ?
Dude with the camera....STAAAAAHHHHHP
when he asked about the Vector
like bro do u even watch dougs channel?
You have to know how to distinguish between TikTok and RUclips, both the zooming in and out and the questions… more narrative and not just clickbait questions. Sorry but had to say it
Doug: normal speech
Daniel: “yah” “uhkah”
Is that just how gen z talks?
Good for you Daniel! Congratulations on your success in interviewing Daddy Doug!
This is a cool chat but the guy clearly had his questions and just followed that structure rather than engaging in actual conversation. Once Doug answered a question he just asks the next
WHAT THE FUCK IS THE THIS ZOOM!?
Man your hustle is encouraging keep it up Daniel
doug forgot that he almost wrecked streetspeed717s hellcat challenger
Let’s see another one with Doug! Or go to cars and coffee with him and look at cars
Someone should do the math on how many cars he's reviewed in his lifetime on the internet. that would be an amazing stat.
This is amazing and couldn’t have been more unexpected. At his house no less! I’ve been wanting a house tour since he moved in there. Can you make that happen too?
kind of amazing we live in a world that a person can make a living shooting videos, put "videographer" or god forbid "cinematographer" on their resume, and turn out a video that looks like this
The cameraman was on some heavy drugs
Camera man almost made this unwatchable. It’s a podcast not a TikTok
What an awesome interview and amazing insight on Doug’s life and career! I like the way Doug thinks and it’s no wonder he’s been in the game this long and maintained such a dedicated following!
What is this videography? Cut that out! 😂
Obama grilled cheese sandwich my heart can't take this damage
Facts
I loved the interview. Zoom-in effect was very annoying though
Porsche Carreara GT sitting right behind them, Dream car.❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
according to his youtube Channel, he is currently at 1067 Car reviews.
You haven't reviewed a Lotus Carlton Doug
Awesome video, love hearing Dougs' thoughts.
Fire the camera guy, get a tripod. Feels like I'm on a boat lol. Good interview though!
Yea watch the hellcat challenger video , he almost lost it. I remember that 😂
Long form Daniel Mac!!! Love it.
What on earth is happening with the zooming? Extremely annoying.
It’s time for another video like that!!!!
Was listening to this while walking the dog and it ended la the sudden and was still like 4 blocks away from home
Huh... wow this is actually kinda epic 👏.
Camera guy needs to chill out holy moly
What a legend fr
Daddy Doug always goes hard
Doug is real genuine gentleman ❤
Bruh, what is this zoom in and out in a long interview...like what. Maybe some cut in and out would be less worse. But good interview to listen to.
Note to cameraman, it's a static interview. Put the camera on a tripod and walk away. This was a good interview ruined by awful camera work
Let me know if you wanna hire a camera operator who won't make your viewers angry
This will be interesting i will make sure to watch it
you need to fire this cameraman
Great interview. Everyone loves Doug
Stop messing with the zoom!
Lol at the hypebeast robot operating the camera
Camera guy trying to prove he can't be replaced by a tripod
Doug almost crashed a hellcat once.
When he mentions cars "Mitsubishi Mirage" for example. Show a picture on screen so I don't have to stop the video and Google it
The person holding the camera is drunk
please stop zooming in
Camera zooming makes this unwatchable. I had to minimize and just listen to the audio only.
we love doug
Awesome! Love Doug!
forgot to ask him about the doug ytps on youtube and how he feels about them
32:25 tik tak 😁
Lmao
Thanks camera man for aggravating my vertigo.
nah king of automoto is matt from carwow, hands down
this was a great interview!
Dude, why can’t you just keep the camera still for once?? Through this whole 40 minute video, the camera just keeps zooming in and out every couple of seconds and it’s just so annoying.
Stationary camera please! The zoom hurts!
Doug almost crashed a hellcat
The hellcat scare 😂
