I make 50k and my husband makes 60k and we get by just fine. However we are not paying 2000 for rent like some people. Our rent is only 1200 for a 2 bedroom. We live in the Midwest.
@@Kraang $2K bi-weekly is not enough for a family unit, but it could be enough for a single person who lives at home with their parents or roommates, it depends on your situation.
Such ungrateful people. You need to pay more in taxes so we can help fund the wars! Also, while you complain, you need to help house and feed illegal “migrants” - now pay your government more!!! 😂
Okay but there are ways around this don't drive all the time, get roommates or save for some sort of RV, trailer, or shed to remodel, look for additional resources to help you even if you don't feel you need them. Or if possible stay at home with ur folks and stack ur bread 🍞 😂

I'm not one of those ppl that advises ppl to stop buying coffee or eating avocado toast but I do believe that certain sacrifices should be made and that ur expenses each month shouldn't exceed what ur getting paid especially if ur making almost six figures that in my opinion is ridiculous. The ppl on those videos are discussing net pay but what they weren't telling us was how much their car notes were, what type of car they had, why they chose to live where they live, and what percentage of their monthly income goes towards spur of the moment wants rather than essentials / a controlled amount of wants.
@@KcMcclary OMG you sound like chatgpt repeating 2016 talking points. Where do you live that you have these BELIEFS? Not in any of the coastal areas where the $70K+ jobs are. Or you live in a rent stabilized unit
58k a year and only left with $1600 a paycheck is total BS. Not even in Cali or NY would you be taxed that much. People are literally just complaining.
Yup most people especially Reddit folk who lean left and pretend the economy is awesome, always think my take home must be way way higher than it actually is
This is not really accurate. Republicans usually cut taxes for the wealthy and corporations and do little to nothing to help the middle class. Trump did it, Bush did it, the list goes on and on. Taxes are cut by the GOP, but only for those in the 1% who don't really need it.

These people complaining about a biweekly payment of $2000 when I'm working with a monthly payment of $1600
it's all about where you live, family size, and expenses.

If that's them... how am I making it on 40k?
You are taxed less

Omg yeah that’s the problem!!!! What’s with people like you always focusing on the tiniest expense and pretending it’s not a structural issue

I’m the end, voting matters. And sadly voting for left wing politics equals high taxes for everyone. Bonus they super inflated the dollar as well.

You paying for Trump tax cuts to the wealthy.
