I built the same set up, by detaching the top of the arm rests from chair. I then got 2x 60cm bread/chopping boards and drilled holes that matched the position of the arm rest. Lined up the holes of the boards between the chairs mounting plates and arm rest and reattached the armrest with the boards attached using new screws that were 3 cm longer than the ones originally used to attach the arm rests to the mounting plate. Looks identical to the above but with more space for extra peripherals and cost £15
I've had the MFC upon it's release. It's a great investment, and features so many adjustments there's nothing comparable. I've flown for hours, and can transition from Helos to fixed wing, and back to FPS (Arma) with no hassles. The level of comfort is unparalleled. It's very sturdy despite the added weight of all of the peripherals. This is 💯 % buy if it's within your budget.
1900$!! Man, we could build decent cockpits for a couple of jets, using oriental suppliers for the price of that thing, both including a comfortable chair.
Hay Bull, awesome name. I use that call sign, too. Lol 😅. Though I use BMS mostly, I like DCS as well. Love your review as I have been looking at that setup as a solution. Space being my biggest problem. Unfortunately everything is expensive, and I have gone the DY route as well. But at the end of the day you just want something smooth and comfortable. Especially as we get older. Thanks for the review. Also. BULL
This. Monstertech needs to put down the crack pipe and correct their pricing to non-bat💩 crazy levels once they come down off of their trip and sober up.
As a complete coincidence I was looking at their mounts earlier after being sent there from reddit. They looked ok but then the price, oh my the price?! Obviously companies should turn a profit and rnd costs money but seriously?!
And how flexible is this chair with the flightsim-gear connected onto and those with wires connected to the computer? And no-one wants to mount / dismount a joystick every time they go flying - thats unrealistic in my humble opinion. Completly overpriced btw. What would have been realy interesting is a center-controlable lock for the wheels - but no - its a solution which needs you crouching on the floor and lock each wheel individually. Thats the opposite of innovative...
+GrimReapersAtomic *Thanks for the brief.* MONSTERTECHⓇ GmbH has a variety of hardware for simpits; I'm working on a tandem simpit based on my estimation for a Grumman AF-14E all-weather attack fighter (Pilot fore, WSO aft).
You advice a buy, but honestly would you have bought it if it was not send to you for free? Or would you have bought an alternative product? I know I would have gone for something else.
looks comfy, but then i don't have enough to compare it with when i sit on a kitchen chair atm lol
Welcome to the kitchen-chair squadron.

Nice! Way to think outside of the box 📦!
Just got my SC MFC delivered today ... still waiting for the mounts

Very nice review Bull! 👌
200+ for the center joystick chairmount, which is literally just a few sheets of metal and some screws is absolutely CRAZY.
Great review Bull, I use a few bits of Monstertech kit, as you say, not cheap, but always very well made and perfect for the job. 👍

Bro 1900 dollars is wild 😂😂 800 bucks gets you the boeing seat setup by Next Level Racing. Monstertech needs to chill lmao 🤣🤣
Couldn’t agree more. Next Level Racing Simpit all the way.
This.

Do not worry, Oriental competitors will eat them up with fries very soon.
Fitting that this is posted. I just bought a full cockpit from monstertech and I already have the chair mounts. Long live monstertech!
The mounts are extortionate. Chair doesn't look good enough quality. I can buy a new designer Hermann Miller for 1200
1000+ dollars for a chair?????? lol the world is going to shit
The only good chairs are $1000+ new. Unless you buy second hand.
Holy CRAP! Too rich for my blood
Different from the norm. I wish that I could justify such a thing. Sadly, nay😢.🤙😜

Way to expensive, you can buy equally as good a product for half the price.
