A Neil Diamond concert is a very happy event the cost of a ticket is worth it 3-4 hours of pure joy hearing this legend perform. I have attended at least 11 of his concerts. Time well spent.
God bless America 🗽🇺🇸...
THE AMERICAN 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 SPIRIT IS COMING BACK , SHE HAS A HEART ❤️ BEAT , 😊😊😊😊😊
I enjoyed your video ..reactions..your great. Some information you might like i know..he has written 95 percent of the music and lyric on his album's. Each one not only tells the listener about his life, but underlying the fact that we all experience the thing he is going through at that time. His back up band and singers have been with him for over 50 years. Each album represents a different stage in his life. Starting with late 1960's
When writing songs for others in tin pan ally new york..he made a pack with the almighty..that he would write and compose music of human value and heart...uplifting the trials and tribulations of every day life..by his own experiences...my first album's Was Shilo.
The next Was" Brother loves traveling salvation " show. . Thank you for enjoying his work. He would be very happy. Because that's the only reason he does it...God bless you and yours..Danny
He also wrote songs for THE MONKEYS
Neil Diamond is a legend all right, an icon, a GOAT as you said. He wrote numerous terrific songs that were covered by the greatest (Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash to name but a few), sold out huge arenas and stadiums around the world, and was one of the most charismatic performers ever. Add to that that amazing voice and you have, indeed, an icon! Thank you for reviewing this, please review some of his other classics like I Am... I Said, Holly Holy, Solitary Man, etc.
One of my favorites of his. He is great in concert. I used to play this song full blast doing workouts.
I am 60 and I love when young people hear Neil
One of my favorite singer songwriters spanning many decades. I had so many of his records. He had tons of hit songs. "Cherry, Cherry", "Kentucky Woman", "Red Red Wine", "Solitary Man", "Holly Holy", "Song Sung Blue", "Longfellow Serenade", "Desirée", "You Don't Bring Me Flowers". He wrote the song "I'm A Believer" which became a big hit for the Monkees in 1966. I was privileged to see him in concert twice. He was a great showman & his live performances were memorable. Sadly he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease & had to retire & stop touring now.
What about Forever in blue jeans? Didn't you like that song? how about Hot August night ? What's wrong with that classic? brother loves Traveling show? WOW
@@duncangarrah968 All his songs are great!
This Diamond is forever!
Americans are one!
He is to me my favorite singer/songwriter. I have followed his career since 1964 when I was a 10-year-old boy, and he came out with these songs: "Cherry Cherry" and "You Got to Me." And have been a fan of his ever since. This great song "America" was written and perform by Neil Diamond for the movie he starred in title "The Jazz Singer"(1980).
I love ur fireplace..Brick don't break. We have a lot of brick houses here Boston..Thanks
This is a scene from the movie "The Jazz Singer" (1980 version); quite a cast. That guy in the audience they keep showing is Sir Laurence Olivier, who played Neil Diamond's character's father in the last decade of his career. He was so good in it. Lucie Arnaz (sitting with him) plays his girlfriend. Wonderful soundtrack, too. A lower East Side immigrant story. All the best.
He is just fabulous live!
Saw him in Dallas & St. Louis.
He would come out for 2 encors, we never wanted the concert to end! Those were the days!
This is the real welcome to America song for non fascist people
Have seen him concert many times. Never a disappointment! Three plus hours of pure Heaven!🔥❤️💎
I have seen him live in concert a couple of times and all I can say is wow wow wow. The energy is real and it was fabulous.
I love Neil--the Jewish Elvis.
My mom loved playing his music in the house while I was growing up. My favorites from Neil Diamond are Love on the Rocks, Hello Again, Forever in Blue Jeans, I Am...I Said, America, Cracklin' Rosie, September Morn, Sweet Caroline, and You Don't Bring Me Flowers (duet with Barbra Streisand).
Love that movie.
This just goes to show that it doesn't matter who you are because great music is simply great music. Being open minded to expanding your mind and taste is a sign of growth and maturity. Neil Diamond is indeed a icon and a legend for a reason. Trying something new sometimes is rewarded by not missing out on something great .
☮️💙💙💙🔥😎
Always loved the build up at the start...
Never watched the Jazz Singer, know my mum loved it.. Maybe I'll take a look (maybe I did see it back in the day, but it was a long time ago)
I saw him live It was epic sorry that you will not be able tp
A great song for sure a couple more from days ago are Sunday sun and thank the Lord for the nighttime
One of my favourite movies “The Jazz Singer” from 1980. The film didn’t really do that well, but the soundtrack is fantastic!
Stan, the only thing more unimaginable (old person here) is that I'd be sitting in front of a TV watching them ;)
Too loud/Neal Diamond
OXYMORON 👊😂😂😂
