He was not begging and pleading with folks. He taught with authority and led by example, much like you and pastor Chaun are doing today based on your calling and HIS example that you follow. The Kingdom of God Is righteousness, holiness, morality, purity and it is not a game! It’s very scary, actually. Jesus kept Himself I un spotted from this filthy world 🌎 bc HE knew and understood that it is all temporal! And what will it profit a man to gain this whole world and lose his soul in eternal damnation. I love you guys so much bc you represent Christ in your walk, your leadership, your work, your love, your example, etc. People will grow to the level that they desire to grow. Agree! We must step up and hold people accountable for their acts that are not right in God’s word. .... Speaking the truth in love! We must take authority in our homes and families as well. People need us as the church to speak up.... many are just waiting for us to say something to them. You speak truth Pastor.
This is a true word. But too many pastors and leaders have made lay people look up to them rather than equipping the body to operate in their God given gifts. This happens too often. We as leaders are to equip the body of Christ. Many church members have not been properly equipped. The have no one that speaks into their lives no one trains them no one teaching them about their specific callings and gifts. The are told to give, help the leaders, show up, support etc.... but no real spiritual mothers and fathers anymore too often leaders are more consumed about themselves rather than truly making disciples. The false church system exists. We all have gifts and callings but too many churches do not honor the truth and too many pastors have created the mind set that they are the most important figure in the body. Five fold ministries are few. Churches need to study the New Testament churches and see where they have gone wrong. That’s why many believers see the church as the leaderships responsibility. It’s an in correct view but my people perish fir the lack of knowledge. TOO MANY LEADERS ARE NOT TRULY EQUIPPING THE BODY OF CHRIST. God is not pleased. Too many leaders are concern about everything else but truly leading and teaching. Sheep just can not jump out and do without knowledge and understanding. They have to be truly taught and equipped. Ultimately some sheep will seek God for all that God has purposed them to do but some need teachers, prophets, evangelist, pastors. Again sheep need good Shepard’s not just hirlings. Equipping the saints is a tireless work not just preaching to them but getting in those trenches and birthing out those gifts and callings to bring glory to God. I pray we all get it together even myself as a leader. Much love for God and God”s people.
I totally agree. The whole system is flawed because flesh is involved. Thank God for the Holy Spirit & maturity in some. My heart goes out to the babies in Christ. As she stated, (SELFISH motives)has taken over majority of the church. Too often do we believe we can please the flesh & GOD. Many only want God in certain ways. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ there is a lot of work to be done.
Amen Amen!!!! I remember as a child when people went to the altar to confess their sin, give their life to Christ, other saints from the church would go to their home and minister to them. But that stopped years ago. I'm Pentecostal. And with the baby saint not being spiritually fed they spiritually die again. If people are not fed food they will what? DIE. The mother has to nourish and care for the infant. And I feel as people of God ( the church )should definitely be out nourishing people immediately after they have given their life to God. Because this not being done these people go right back to sin. A young man backslid because he went to his pastor with questions and the pastor if I remember correctly told him to come to him about it at church. He does that at church. I won't say his name because I don't like talking about people of God. But one thing I will say about seventh day Adventist, Jehovah witnesses and latter day saints, these people are definitely out going from house to house preaching and spreading the gospel 🙌. And I'm with you Pastor Kadesha. We as the church have pretty much got to get our act together. Get on our job. Including me. And I'm not saying all people are lacking but some of us.

Since you quoted a SCRIPTURE out of the Bible to defend your point, it DID NOT SAY THAT PASTORS/LEADERS are the church. The same scripture you quoted, she also referenced in the video. Here is the problem, most “church hurt people” tend to put the whole body in one category instead of individualizing the certain church. The Church is NOT the building, but each individual that profess discipleship. Please stop putting all the blame on leader. And let me confirm that I to have been hurt by leaders at the two ministries that I have been apart of. One in which I am a member of now (multiple times).
