I heard this song for the first time today after spending the day with my sister who has cancer and it just blew me away.
My wife passed tonight from cancer. I will play this at her funeral.

Someone please help me find the chords or piano music to this song....I LOVE IT!!! I have picked some of it out by ear, thank God there is a repeating pattern, but I would just love to have the visual sheetmusic so that I can play it correctly...
HI been a few years since you put this out there.. Im always pulling chord charts and stuff that will set me on a path to learn a song.. here is the best I could find.. you could try "Ultimeate Guitar" also. I didnt find it but you never know sometimes stuff does not show up.

I am sad that Bonnie's take on this great song is for me so uninvolving. She who breaks my heart every time I hear "I Can't Make You Love Me", here sounds sweet,, but curiously detached . And the rinky dink piano. The song sounds unfelt.
Joe Henry's version has the pathos and intensity of an old testament prophet.
There's beauty and a lot of emotion in the subtlety.
I heard this for the first time today. My son just passed away and others may have to be in this space to understand it. I adore Bonnie she speaks to my heart and breaks it every time. The lyrics made me weep.
@@karenstaples4351 Listen to the original by the man who wrote the song, Joe Henry. It's here on RUclips. Your post is sending me back to it. Perhaps it's because you are a woman and I am a man, but Bonnie's sounds shallow and unfelt. When Joe sings, "God only knows that we men well, God knows that we just don't know how." it pierced my heart.
