That said, unlike a lot of people, I don't think you can just pick and choose the person you want to love, regardless of their gender. It's a trait locked in by genetics at conception. For example, as a gay man, I'm not capable of loving women in a romantic way. It's as simple as that. And while I suppose it's possible that someone could actually be bisexual, as a gay man, a relationship with them wouldn't be anything I could ever fully trust and, therefore, would never be interested in.

I think humanity is meant to be Bisexual and only when we start identifying ourselves in different persona. We started to explore new boundaries, and we differ as we get to a point. If being a Bi was natural, I think everyone would agree that sometimes we feel attraction to same sex is not gay but a desire for understanding and acceptance. It's a mechanism on how we experience social life.

It's funny but when I thought I was bi I got questioned about it a lot more by gay guys than I did by the specific girls I dated at the time, maybe it was just the type, nor what women in general think but... yeah. When I first came out a 17 I identified as bi. Then I went and met a bunch of gay men at a coffee shop a year and half later and was told bisexua men do not exist. At the time it did seem like they may have been right but when I hit 35 I for some reason started getting really turned on by women just as much as men. It felt strange to tell myself I was actually bi. I kind of felt ashamed of myself because of it. However even in my early 20s when I was having sex with other men I sometimes thought what would it be like to have a woman join us.

I think humanity is meant to be Bisexual and only when we start identifying ourselves in different persona. We started to explore new boundaries, and we differ as we get to a point. If being a Bi was natural, I think everyone would agree that sometimes we feel attraction to same sex is not gay but a desire for understanding and acceptance. It's a mechanism on how we experience social life.

All im saying is- being attracted to both sexes- opens up more options as far as dating goes. Obviously you cant help who youre attracted to. BUT, Art did point out a quandry when it comes to longevity in relationships with bisexuals: For example If you're gay and in a relationship with him, how long until he says "I want to get with girls more/again" ? There's only two options ...break up or have an open relationship where you know your man is getting with women. Among my friends not many many gay guys are cool with that, when pressed to be honest. If someone says that they're Bi upfront, does this thought process go through your head? I personally want to be on solid ground, not putting the heart on thin ice.

There exists a lot of stereotypes 'bout bi ppl, It's comprehensible to feel unsure if you're dating with one of them, coz you're always thinking that you aren't enough for them coz they maybe need a girl. But I guess it's just a fake believing coz if they're sure they wanna be next to you, commint with you and love you as u are, that's the most important thing.

It's funny but when I thought I was bi I got questioned about it a lot more by gay guys than I did by the specific girls I dated at the time, maybe it was just the type, nor what women in general think but... yeah. A lot of guys assume that you being bi is "just a phase" and you'll fall in line eventually, which kind of was true for me but, bisexuality is not just real, it's probably way more common than people think or care to admit.

When I first came out a 17 I identified as bi. Then I went and met a bunch of gay men at a coffee shop a year and half later and was told bisexua men do not exist. At the time it did seem like they may have been right but when I hit 35 I for some reason started getting really turned on by women just as much as men. It felt strange to tell myself I was actually bi. I kind of felt ashamed of myself because of it. However even in my early 20s when I was having sex with other men I sometimes thought what would it be like to have a woman join us.
I never understood being bi.

I wonder if there are any statistics on the percentage of bisexual guys who date, have sex with, and maybe even have relationships with gay men, but ultimately end up with a woman? This is exactly my fear of dating bi. Always at the back of my mind, what if he wants something from a woman that I can not provide, or if their taste change and they want to be with a woman now.
I'm a bi guy myself, experiencing a lot of bi fobia, although it is getting better.
Once I am in a relationship with someone I just wanna give them myself, that's my way of thinking, doesn't matter if it's a girl or a guy. I wanna be there for them. And as for the sexual desires, we can talk through this and discuss it, but 1 person can definitely be enough for me in this area.
People are scared because they think I am gonna dump them for someone of opposite sex, but it's just stupid, I never did that. I do think that both males and females are beautifull and they both turn me on in my head, but it does not go anywhere beyond that.
