Ohmygoodnezz! This was wonderful!! I have always loved Carol Burnet too! You did a marvelous job telling her story!!! I must admit, i put this on as a "bedtime story " to fall asleep by. I didn't fall asleep, I hung on to every word!❤❤❤ i can't wait to watch the rest of the episodes!
Justin, I found you yesterday and you won't let me go. What a gift you have. It's like you really knew people, lived with them, and have a true soul connection with them. Honestly. Thank you for sharing with us, and please keep it coming!
I never really knew anything about her other than the carol burnett show . Thus is a fascinating story and I look forward to the next episode. You deserve more subs , you have a way with your delivery and knowledge that draws you in .
I have been binge watching this channel for two days straight… I do not understand why these videos don’t have triple if not more views than they have. I absolutely love everything about them. I predict a lot of growth with your channel in the upcoming days. Fantastic job! 😊
Boy, do I second that! Absolutely laugh/crying as I drive to work, listening to the Roy Rogers story, you are a very very talented and comedic storyteller.
Nice work. I'm really enjoying this, thanks. I studied with Stella Adler about 1985 and Carol came in and sat a couple seats from me. I suppose to audit the class
Since the plaque is dated Nov. 11, 1922, I’m going to guess the tree was planted on Armistice Day (now Veterans Day) in 1922 to remember those from Hollywood who died in WWI.
The vlogger seems to draw a lot of ironies , One aspect was Ms. Burnett was bought up poor just blocks away from the famous Hollywood Blvd . I think in this particular episode he mentioned that she wanted to be a Broadway star like Mary Martin or Ethel Merman . In fact when CB was starring in the Mattress musical she was nominated for a Tony award . Among the others nominated Martin and Merman with Martin winning the award for The Sound Of Music . Another ironic fact was her friend Julie Andrews was earlier Tony nominated for My Fair Lady but lost to another Broadway legend. Miss Andrews went on to star in the movie version of TSOM and is more personified with that role than even Miss Martin .
$45 for college tuition for a semester (or was it for a whole year?!).....WOW. According to Google: Accounting for inflation, $45 in 1951 [the year Carol graduated from High School] is worth $552.14 in 2024. $552 won't get you food and books for one semester these days, let alone tuition!
Man the goodbye to her dad for the last time really got to me Rest in Peace Joseph.
Gosh dang! This really is the best bio story ever! I’m crying
I'd drawn that same hairstyuand outfit on my RUclips day's ago. Nice ❤

The Trigger jr. story was priceless. I could picture them gathered around the radio. By the way, bullet was a better name.
I remember going to the movies in the 1970’s, missing the beginning of a movie, staying for the second one for free. It was great.
Love your story telling!! Hope you get more views. I think you do an awesome job!!
I can't get enough of this series! Loving it so much❤Thank you so much for putting it together, Justin.

A “sheikh” is a tribal leader or nobleman or family patriarch in the Arab and Muslim worlds. Definitely a term of respect.
How,how sad her parting was with her father before she left for New York.
