I agree, beautiful and funny was an unexpected combination at that time. She was both. Credit to Mel Brooks for casting three Beautiful, funny women. I also totally Loved Terri Garr ❤😂
Ms. Kahn has made me laugh and brought more smiles to my face than any other woman in comedy. Sad that she's not around anymore, there are no others today who can light up the screen and make you laugh your ass off like she could!
Madeline Khan was amazingly funny not to mention talented and bloody gorgeous. Teri Garr was no slouch in the looks department either but Maddy had it all.
Like they say in french: "A kid's gotta do, what a kid's gotta do !" But "Tell me. Exactly, what is it ... that you ...do do ?" Young Frankenstein (1974 movie)
What a stunning and mesmerising beauty Miss Madeline was... And still is..There is nothing sexier than a woman with impeccable comedic timing. Man she had it all. Beautiful.
Mel Brookes was such a comedic genius. To have the caliber of actors to flesh out his films must have been quite enjoyable. Wilder was sublime and Khan was always on cue. Feldman made everybody laugh just by looking in his direction.
Peter Boyle. Kenneth Mars. And they're all just the best people. All of them. I just watched it again and suddenly realized almost everyone in the cast is now gone. Mel Brooks, Terri Garr and Cloris Leachman are sill with us.
Sadly they're all gone now except Teri Garr who is battling serious MS. Marty Feldmen's line "Walk this way" in the movie was the impetus behind Aerosmith's song "Walk this way"
Mel Brooks, Gene Hackman and Cloris Leachman are still with us. But yes, it is sad to watch the movie and know that so many of them have passed. We're all getting older.
This is another movie that I quote from quite frequently. Also tops of my all time fave movies. Amazing all the way around. Still holds it's own and then some. Melbrooksisgod! "Where wolf... There wolf, there castle...." "Why you talking like that? I don't know, I thought you wanted to."
she did that lovely "DO DO" thing with just as much foresight and knowledge as Heath Ledger as The Joker when he said GENTLEMAN singular in a crowded dining room meaning that among them all there was only one real gentleman the rest were horribles
I thought Madeline was a genius as a comedian. Her death was very traumatic for me given that a great mate was also diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the time.
Someone steals every great movie. Conventional wisdom says Marty Feldman stole this one but actually it was Madeline Khan. Her scenes with Wilder are the funniest and some of the greatest comedy ever made.
+Comedy Superstars I do too. He was one of the greats. He smoked like a freight train though, however, that was back when it was like everyone smoked. From the 50s-the early 80s was back when you found ashtrays in college hall ways. I know because I remember it!
Sadly with antisemites around we need to see the funny side of things. I suggest you strip away this irrational thought process and check out the list of comedians that aren't Jewish. Heaps of them and all of them very funny..
Madeline Kahn was one of the most beautiful women ever and one of the funniest people of all time. Such brilliant comic timing!
Now she was a true lady!!! GORGEOUS!
Her timing was perfect
I agree, beautiful and funny was an unexpected combination at that time. She was both.
Credit to Mel Brooks for casting three Beautiful, funny women. I also totally Loved Terri Garr ❤😂
Madeleine Khan was a scene stealer. She was so funny and beautiful.
With everyone being so damn funny, their greatest talent was being able to complete the movie not ending up in endless laughter.
Marty had the best facial expressions of anyone in tv and film. You want to fall over laughing with out him saying a word.
Ms. Kahn has made me laugh and brought more smiles to my face than any other woman in comedy. Sad that she's not around anymore, there are no others today who can light up the screen and make you laugh your ass off like she could!
round about midnight That’s true. Not many women are truly funny.
Madeline Khan was amazingly funny not to mention talented and bloody gorgeous. Teri Garr was no slouch in the looks department either but Maddy had it all.

Young Frankenstein (1974 movie)
All of these actors were comic geniuses! Bless them all.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My friends and I saw YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN when it came out and we just about died laughing. Thank you for bringing joy to the world.. RIP.
What a stunning and mesmerising beauty Miss Madeline was... And still is..There is nothing sexier than a woman with impeccable comedic timing. Man she had it all. Beautiful.
jaffa74 not Feldman’s voice in this clip though is it!
Agreed ... and that turban really does something to me.
Omg Madeline was so fine.
@@cydonianman Id have devoured her
@@tiarnan76 weirdo
Kahn's timing was beyond impeccable.
Mel Brookes was such a comedic genius. To have the caliber of actors to flesh out his films must have been quite enjoyable. Wilder was sublime and Khan was always on cue. Feldman made everybody laugh just by looking in his direction.
I thought I had read somewhere that Gene Wilder pretty much had the entire movie written when he asked Mel brooks to help him produce it.
@@292carroll Had not heard that tidbit, but not surpising, as Wilder was as much a genius as Brookes.
I can watch this over and over again and crack up every time
Marty Feldman, Madeline Kahn, and now Gene Wilder. They all are missed.
Peter Boyle. Kenneth Mars. And they're all just the best people. All of them.
I just watched it again and suddenly realized almost everyone in the cast is now gone. Mel Brooks, Terri Garr and Cloris Leachman are sill with us.
So true and you worded it perfectly.

Sensational outtakes
Sadly they're all gone now except Teri Garr who is battling serious MS. Marty Feldmen's line "Walk this way" in the movie was the impetus behind Aerosmith's song "Walk this way"
JD William Powell does the same gag in 3rd Thin Man movie, decades earlier.
Dan Cowan- but it was Marty Feldman's line "Walk this way" that was used for the song title
Mel Brooks, Gene Hackman and Cloris Leachman are still with us. But yes, it is sad to watch the movie and know that so many of them have passed. We're all getting older.
@@JD-zd8tm Based on what?
Happy Belated Birthday to the late Madeline Gail Wolfson Kahn.9-29-42.Boston.
I get the impression that they had more fun making this movie than any of us had by just watching it.
Well, we didn't get paid
@@klingdelmonte4919 Yeah, dang it; did they lose our addresses to mail the checks?
@@nemo227 haha. But I'm glad I didn't waste my money on this. Today's comedy sucks.
Why don't they make movies like this anymore? Hilarious!
Everyone is so sensitive nowadays, you can't say anything without offending someone. Rediculous, people need to learn how to laugh at themselves
Frightened to offend.
Let's not forget the late great Peter Boyle.
Blazing Saddles: "Whats the Voodo that you do, so well?"
I always remember how effin' hot Madeline Kahn was in her day, but sometimes I forget Teri Garr was right up with her...
I agree she is the perfect combination of funny and drop dead gorgeous
DroverChicago
Somehow, the German accent makes her even hotter.
#truth.. teri garr in the star trek pilot... ;)
@@Framer_Mike I'd do her right in the seti alpha 5.
WOTeva - 🙄
Fun to watch Madeline struggle to keep a straight face.
Madeline Kahn was so funny, people forget what a beautiful woman she was, too.
I could never take my eyes off Teri Garr
Teri Garr was at the peak of her hotness in this movie.
I've always loved Madeline Khan. She was beautiful and extremely talented performer!
Marty is such a legend. Laughed my ass off so hard on this. Grrrrrrrraghh!!!

my personal fav, works for most any occasion, "A riot is an ugly thing. And it's just about time that we had one!" ROFL kills me every time.
One of my favorite movies of all times no matter how many times I watch it I still have to laugh.
This one is among my favorite scenes. Such a great flick.
So so hilarious! Thank you!
Excuse me ladydianepoet, tell me exactly what is it that you do do?
rotflmao! very funny, love love love Madeline...
Teri Garr's giggle.
she did that lovely "DO DO" thing with just as much foresight and knowledge as Heath Ledger as The Joker when he said GENTLEMAN singular in a crowded dining room meaning that among them all there was only one real gentleman the rest were horribles
I miss that lady. And that man.
as do I.
And now all 3 of them. RIP Gene Wilder.
Tom Swales I hate getting old.
I thought Madeline was a genius as a comedian. Her death was very traumatic for me given that a great mate was also diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the time.
Madeline Kahn was such a babe....and so talented.
Someone steals every great movie. Conventional wisdom says Marty Feldman stole this one but actually it was Madeline Khan. Her scenes with Wilder are the funniest and some of the greatest comedy ever made.
Notice that Kahn was the ONLY one capable of holding back her laughter, unlike the rest of the cast?? It's called "professionalism."
When she does smile tho, it's infectious
Get outta here. They're all professional, but also human. It doesn't make her better than the others.
madeline kahn drives me wild woof woof
Can't watch this with the picture jumping the whole time.
+NJtoTX You're right and I haven't the slightest clue why this is happening either. It's whatever RUclips is doing.
...who knew that 16 mm projectors were still a thing....broken sprockets and all.
Beautiful!!
One of the funniest movies ever !!
its a work of art
You made an old lady laugh. Many blessings!
The first time I was exposed to Madeline Kahn. I was forever smitten.
Madeleine Kahn was a looker

Absolutely loved Madeline Kahn
And then there came "Walk This Way." You're kind of welcome. Mel Brooks -

Madeline Kahn, She really is beautiful is theses shots.
So funny
Great but why the F does it keep skipping like an epileptic on roller skates?
Every time Mel would say action I would have start to laugh.
madeline kann woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooof
Madeline Kahn ... a true pro.
I always thought that Ms. Kahn was foreign born because of the accent she sometimes used while acting. But she was born in the USA.
his eyes 😳👍🥇😆
7 or 8 quick ones and then off to brag to the boys
What is that at the end, quoting a line from another of my favorite movies?

Why is the video so shaky? Everyone's vibrating repeatedly, I can't watch this.
A nice girl from Quincy. Madeline Kahn.
