- In this crochet zip pouch tutorial, I am going to show you how to assemble this handy pouch.
This particular zip pouch has a crochet outside and a fabric lining with a zipper and a tassel. It is such a practical item to have and with the fabric lining, it means you are not going to lose anything in the holes of the crochet. This crochet zip pouch is ideal for taking some crochet hooks and accessories with you when out and about or you can use this as a makeup bag as well. I hope you enjoy this zip pouch tutorial.

There are many ways you could line a pouch but this seemed the most straightforward for everyone to try! You can do this by hand too! Enjoy xxx
I decided to sew the lining to the squares by hand. Just personal preference. It's almost finished!!!

If you use 1/4 inch double sided seam tape the zipper will stay in place for sewing. Nice tutorial!

I was wondering if it would be possible to sew fabric to crochet work. My local seamstress said it cannot be done and sure enough, my midi sewing machine couldn't cope sewing the flannel lining I made for the baby's bonnet. (Maybe because it was even fluffier flannel than the kind of fabric we use for pyjamas.) But now that I have a real sewing machine I might try again. I'm thinking of a baby sleeping bag with lining for next winter.

I wanted to know which size of the crochet hook have you used in this video.
Im using the 3.5mm hook, but depending on your tension you might need to use a 4mm one, Anja x

This is very cute! I went to your site and found the yarn and what I thought were the same colors,but didn't order it because I am in the states so if I just go my the colors as they appear on my phone I could be disappointed. I had this epiphany. If you see my post, and can tell me the colors that you used, I can place an order and be one happy crocheter. Thank you😊
