But then in the adventure time specials finn is like 40 years old or smth and in together again he gets his old classic sword back, at him and Jake come back to life. As someone who watched the entire adventure time show twice it makes me legit scared and sad to see my favorite animated characters so scary. also the legitimate terror in tree trunks face is sad.
It makes since a younger Finn & Jake was corrupted a more experienced Duo in the later seasons would have been very effective at fighting off the corruption.

I loved the way this video went with the corruption. It actually looks like a believable scene that could have been ripped right from pibby if it ever showed the scene. Also, a sidenote. We don’t know just how strong the corruption is actually yet. While we know it is strong, we can’t assume its unstoppable. If the glitch or the corruption or whatever was really all powerful and all destructive, then consider this. How would pibby and friends be able to try and fight the corruption. What would be the point of sending enemies in if the corruption could just eat them all up. Just remember guys, Pibby hasn’t come out yet. So calm down lol
also the corruption goes after a younger Finn and Jake so regular (if you consider Finn and Jake as regular) characters could fight corruption They would be too coordinated and in sync to corrupt in a later episode, too powerful together the corruption got them when they were less powerful and in sync
