Just ordered a Spirit and immediately went to Reverb to order the full kit. Thanks for selling this kit. I noticed the spring from your kit and the JCustom Bridge are both blue. Are they the same spring?
I really like my Steinberger bridge, as it is. For me it anyway is the most tuning stable one, I ever had on a guitar and I anyway mostly tune with a screwdriver. (Maybe twice a year with double ball ends and without string adapter. ;-)) The screws in fact can cause problems sometimes, but usually not all in the same way. So the idea itself seems to be a clever, additional improvement for a little more comfort and usability.
@@PabloRomero1991 Tired a Reverb search, Nothing there….searched “R-Trem kit” R-Trem tuning, and in shops Pablo Romero and Pablo Romero 1991…what do I need to do?
@@paulbeckwith5981 that is very odd. I looked up just "R-Trem" and I see all my listings with all the different color combinations... reverb.com/shop/pablos-gear-outlet-26 here's a link..i wonder if it'll work!
@@PabloRomero1991 This is really odd…your link worked, it took me to your store, but it says there are no listing for sale…. Could it be because I am in the UK? Ill message you from the Reverb store I’m confused! Happy New Year!
R-trem is notorious for tuning instabilities which turns the guitar practically useless.Otherwise everyone who plays guitar should have one of these great guitars except the faulty bridge.
They sure do get a lot of flack, but mine works great. Easier to set up than a lot of FR designs, and *utter shock* it tunes and zeroes just as well as any other midrange guitar. I honestly don’t know how an informed person could look at the inside of an R-trem and imagine up some mortal instability in its simple and effective design. “Useless” is a hilarious thing to say about the R-trem, and it’s hard to take it as sincere criticism. I think most of the hate originates with Synapse owners who need an import to look down on.
@@dddddddd9870 Overlord of music but after some modifications i turn it into a fixed bridge with good tuning stability. If this problem solved then the guitar is one of the best ever made.
Love this what a great design so thoughtful to the player
Also great tutorial showing how to avoid simple mistakes while installing, you are the man!!
thank you so much for that word of feedback. It is encouraging!
Where did you get the kit?
how did you take the middle pickup out?
Will this work on an 80's Hohner?
