Does the dump trailer not lift up when you are loading or unload equipment how do you keep it down
Hydraulics keep it down, this machine was not to heavy, it does go a bit up when loading our 259d

Yes it would, just be a bit harder on the axles since it’s not that long

I know get lazy, don’t want to get on the bed and hook them on. So far I’ve gotten away with it for a very long time. But I do need to start using them again.

Ryan Windsor I load backwards when the trailer is a bit lower this one is to high up and ramps are short
Backwards is best because that's where the counterweights are at.
Need advice for you is it better to get a bobcat or a forklift to do jobs like what you do ..

Dont need safety chains when hauling in a dump trailer. It has sides built up.

DOT would smoke you around here with no chains. That trailer tips over, that machine isn't going to stay inside un-secured.
It looks like you can still see them hooked to the trailer when he drives off?
You still need to secure your load. Dump trailer or not. Dot will fine the shit out of you for that they will have your ass for not using your safety chains too.
