While this song is from '87 Heart was huge when I was a teen in the 70's. Around '75 I think they released their first studio album. It was a lot of great music in the 70s that carried over into the 80s. Some of those artists even came from the 60s. I would say I have had the privilege living through some great era's of music. Have you heard Heart do a tribute to Led Zeppelin live at the Kennedy Center? You might need to pause it often not to get it blocked but it’s worth watching if you haven’t seen it. Led Zeppelin are being honored and other artists do Zeppelin songs live in front of them.

80s music better than today's? No comparison. But my era ( late 60s and all 70s )were the filet mignon generation. Not just rock. I am so picky because of it now a days. I still listen 95% to it to this day.
original is a rock ballad you really need to listen to it, ann really belts it out with her strong vocals, and nancy aka whiz fingers really plays that guitar like a mad woman, you wont regret it i promise you that !!!!!
