I travel full-time which means my sleeping bag will always be in my backpack. It's ok to just let the bag dry out for a bit and then stuff it back into its compression sack?

Will be getting into backpack camping in my 50's. Like the way you equipment looks and the reviews from you tube. For tents I like the 2P Zion and for bags I like the
Hyke & Byke Quandary 15 . Since I live in the New England area and will do most of the overnights in Mount Washington area in the spring, Summer and early fall do you think this bag will be warm enough? Will be buying in the next week so your input is very important on my buying decision. Will be doing a video on them if it is good or bad after at least 4 trips. Thanks for your time.
