Great to hear from you again! I completely understand your move to another "platform" for a toy. I mentioned that my wife made the comment that "I bet you can ride this 5 years longer, plus if you buy this I will ride with you" when referring to my Can -Am Spyder RT as opposed to my purchasing a Gold Wing. I feel more comfortable and safer on it, and yes, I will be ale to rider it much longer than the Gold Wing. I can see you enjoying your Scorpion and it added stability and visibility many more years than the Indian. It was great to see more improvements you your beautiful house. I was just daydreaming of rides I want to take when I retire. I would love to ride over to see you and maybe Eric, Jody and Tommy, etc. Gotta live up to my "any excuse to ride" motto. I jumped on my bike as soon as my class finished today just "purge the stress of the day". I love my job but I love riding more! One question, Can you tell me a bit about how you did the opening video montage? Was it a long video that you sped up or was is a time lapse of snapshots? It was amazing!

I use my iPad and set the video on Timelapse. I’ve also done it with the GoPro and Insta360 Ace Pro but really prefer to use the iPad. I record the sunrise almost every day in Timelapse. I’ve captured some spectacular ones! I plan to do a different one with each video I post and will be more active now in posting. Would be great to see you if you ride this direction!

I own an old NB Miata with the manual transmission - absolutely love a good traditional manual, it adds so much to the driving experience in my old Miata and no doubt in your Polaris.
It's good to be decisive and make a choice. Glad you've got a bunch of great memories with the Indian bike.
Your tyre-life will be the envy of any motorcycling friend!
Can't wait to see what sort of adventures you create on it.

Thank you 😊. Yes the driving part is much like a car with same type of shifting and clutch. You are out in the elements and feel like you’re on a bike/spyder. A lot of people will comment “why didn’t you buy a Miata”? I’ve owned a Miata and this is nothing like it lol. It’s a different animal and so much fun. Redlines at 8500 RPM’s!
Man o man when you do something you do it right. That is awesome. I bet it takes the sting out of getting ride of the bike.
It does. It’s a lot of fun. Still, It really does sting. We’ll see what happens in the future. I may rent 2 wheels from time to time.

Thanks. I’ve had it for a week today and put 250 miles in it. Pure bliss. It’s a whole lot of fun. Working from home, I drive a lot less but would so drive it to work if I had an office to go to.
You can put a car seat in the slingshot and take the grandbabies for a ride in that. 😎👍

It was a hard decision but the right one for me. Who knows, I may rent a bike on trips from time to time. Being that the wife loves the SS, we'll do more together with it than we did with the Chieftain. But man did I LOVE that Chieftain.

With so many distracted drivers out there, it is getting sketchy riding a motorcycle. But, you did get a nice slingshot👍👍
It really is. It just started playing on my mind until I was anxious the whole time I rode. Even out in the country with little traffic, people pull out in front of you from their driveways. And out here, a very large population of deer. It wore me down. Thought I’d try something new my wife could also enjoy.
