I traded my narrow body scat in, for the widebody scat, and been loving it more! All you hear ppl say is, I want a widebody plus it looks more aggressive
Widebody all day. I'm on the road a month and home a week. I may see 200 chargers and challengers. I might see 3 widebodys. That's why they turn heads so much.
Great comparison - I always felt like the additional investment was more than just cosmetic with the suspension etc. - so, those making the decision to bolt on a kit later just need to know what they are missing. If it’s just for looks, 💯 bolt on that kit!!
Appreciate it! I feel the same way. I knew I wasn’t going to put the work in to adding a kit later. I got max respect for those that do. As you said it is for sure more than looks. 💪🏾
Still crazy to me that the regular version of these cars are widely referred to as “narrow body”. I mean, I get the idea, but if dodge not calling it a narrow body I refuse to
I like them both. But if I did the kit on mine I wouldn’t change out the front grille, I like the snorkels on the reg one and I have them outlined with go mango vinyl to match the paint 😊
It’s more than fender flares 😭 the adaptive suspension that you’d be paying thousands for aftermarket, upgraded breaks which u will pay a premium for aftermarket, bigger air inlets front and back, to accommodate the larger tires 315 all around roughly a 3 inch wide body fender flares, in almost every way considering driveing ability the wide body is better and more efficient. Just to even come close to the specs of a wide body scat or cat you’ll have you’ll pay more than 6,000 which is roughly the price jump from narrow body to wide body. N then even after all that that factory warranty on the factory parts is unmatched.
@@AdrenalineJunkie25 yeah the price tag is crazy and almost on par with the foreign brothers Audi jag and Porsche but it’s not slow lol. 9 out of ten cars on the road can’t beat it. And 9 out of 10 of us would only drive our scats on the road and not the track so it’s more that beneficial for our needs. Only someone who’s never driven anything with power would say that. Name 10 cars u see everyday that can beat a scat wide body or not. It’s just the market went up and we became interested at the wrong time. A 60-70k 🐱 was dodges shtick but now that blown up for the extended future. The price should be the only reason u shouldn’t want this car. It’s a matter of can u afford it. Because it’s definitely good enough 💯 if u live in an area with twisty road and canons and stuff like that I say get a wide body it’s made to handle better and hold more G’s in the corner but if your in the city than get a narrow body scat it’s faster in a straight line than a wide body and higher top speed, easier to slide around in parking lots and around corners ( quicker car to fun town😭🤣) it just depends on if u can afford it because the options are there
I just got my 2022 Charger Scat pack Daytona last week and I’m loving it , it comes with of course the Daytona package and dynamics package, so I have the suspension and same 6 piston kit as the widebody.
Congrats on the new ride! You have the ability to adjust the different suspension modes? I looked at a build sheet of a car with the dynamics package and I didn’t remember seeing that listed.
You forgot to mention widebody gets bigger sway bars, stiffer springs, electronic power steering over the narrow body that uses power steering fluid pump
I think it’s worth it the Widebody just has that aggressive look i seen this one video this guy ad a Widebody kit on his narrow body Charger bruh it’s a lot of work bro that’s too much for me so you should just buy it from the dealership already Widebody 🤙🏿 appreciate the content ✊🏿
I'm kind of disappointed in how much traction my widebody has. I can't barely do a burnout. B.S. I'm going to have to run narrow body wheels and tires with a spacer.
Name the performance and all the extra goodies of just fenders flares if you will. Downdraft isn't that substantial for the extra money. So, be specific. I want to see what you say and look it up for reference and if it is indeed a performance and extra goodies difference then, I'm getting me one.. Don't get it twisted, I never said they don't look better. I just don't think the extra money is worth it. Love the channel by the way bro. 👍
The main difference is handling. It can hold more g forces in a turn. I saw in an article they talked about the improvement on that. But of course it would be heavier and worst aerodynamics in high speed runs. In my eye, the widebody would be a better platform for a autocross/road course car due to the suspension and tire upgrades. While the standard body would be a better platform to start a drag strip build with from what I’ve noticed.
@@RUBIX3 Thanks for the feedback bro and not taking it the wrong way. I'm now convinced and will upgrade my 2021 narrow body scat challenger soon.. Thanks my guy! 👌
Great 👍 comparison. Let me say, I do like the wide body and actually went to buy a wide body HOWEVER when I got to the dealership, I didn’t like the wide body in the color I wanted. I wanted Frostbite 🥶 and to my eyes, the wide body in Frostbite just didnt look good. I don’t know why, it just didn’t look good in the wide body to me. They showed me a narrow in Frostbite and I been loving it ever since.
Widebody all day! The narrow body guys can't change their cars for the price that dodge offers it for. Love my 2021 Widebody TA in gold rush🔥 it brakes necks😎
Man I love that gold rush 💪🏾💪🏾 but you are right. To widebody that car yourself the RIGHT way you will be close to the 6k mark if not over it. I learned if you buy the wheels alone from dodge they are like $1k a piece I think. Even the 9.5” when directly from dodge are like $700-$800 a piece.

For sure. Definitely one of my points that they are rarer than a standard body.
Can’t go wrong with either one! Great video bro🔥
For sure 💪🏾💪🏾 appreciate it!!
I will say as a original widebody owner right now nothing like a widebody frfr.... Great choice tho bro especially the color.
Appreciate that bro! That red undefeated 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

I feel you on that. I know I started hearing the term myself and it kind of stuck to me. But I definitely feel what you saying though
I aint ganna lie them tire stickers would look so good on there fam I love it
Appreciate it. I don’t think I’m doing tire stickers this time around.
Dang I do like that interior that he has. Looks really good.
Yeah for real. I really should have just did it 🥲🥲🥲
I like them both. But if I did the kit on mine I wouldn’t change out the front grille, I like the snorkels on the reg one and I have them outlined with go mango vinyl to match the paint 😊
I never really cared for the wide body. They're more like fender flares. I'd rather have a custom wide body that makes the ENTIRE CAR wider.

I got this in recommended and noticed it only had 400 views so... that means this video might go viral

I don’t know much about these cars but the “wide body” looks the same to me as the narrow. I don’t see much if any difference 🤷🏽♂️
I ordered a 2022 scat pack narrow body with adaptive damping suspension . Thanks for the video. Debating on the wide or narrow body.
Appreciate that. I went widebody because I had a narrow body before. Plus when I seen one in person, I swear it looked extra wide. Had to get one
intro is dope!!!
Thanks bro!!
So I should just buy a widebody? You know my money 💰 funny 😄 great video my dude congratulations on 11k
You got money over there lol. Your is hellcat clean. 💪🏾💪🏾 appreciate that bro!

🤝🏾🤝🏾🤝🏾😬
Where bro get those scat pillows at? I got the amazon ones but they smaller the googoo ones or whatever tf lol
I wish you would have showed the steering wheel in the narrow body because I don’t think they have the flat bottom one that comes in the widebody.
U can option it
You can get the flat bottom in the narrow body in the dynamics package.
Car is looking good bro🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate that bro!!
Wide body should be faster off a stand still though wider tires less spin off jump
It is. It does have more grip.

I'm just sad no more of these cars.
392 all the way the wide body makes you slower.
You can get adaptive suspension on the narrow body.
Under which package? I was looking at the different packages and didn’t see it under any of them.
@@RUBIX3 its under suspension. If you're building one it will be almost towards the end when it gives you that option to get it or not.
