Sounds will change. Many of them WIP. There were tons of wrong sounds too. If there is one thing you don't need to worry about hen it's the sound design of frontier. Imo top 3 in the world

My biggest question is how long did those custom inversions take? I'm really hoping to be able to build a barrel roll without having to do five smoothing passes to get it right
so they havent changed the drop piece from the dive coaster? in my opinion it moves across way to fast to its halting position :/ but otherwise these povs look all amazing and smooth

In the game you have to build a launch from the beginning of the ride instead of having it start the rollercoaster with a launch

I was going to comment on this. The camera is too smooth and doesn't follow the curves from the track exactly. I miss the real life feeling of the Track bumps and Friction.
I hope this time we have a simple way to import a NoLimit 2 (FVD, Newton²) layouts into Planet Coaster 2. I think Frontier and planet coaster would benefit greatly from that. Or at least give the source code for coasters (or coaster elements) saves so someone can build a transfert script. The coasters and the builder are the sole reasons why I never played this game, and even if the new one looks a lot better I still prefer to build rides based on forces and not feelings. Plus I have hundreds of NoLimit coasters layouts I would love to see riders inside and build parks with. Also i hope we can still edit coasters friction coefficients.
DId you find out if mechanical brakes are animated now? It drove me nuts, that RCT2 had opening/closing brakes, but PC didn´t. The supports don´t seem to be changed at all! Still way too flimsy on high rides and magically disappearing if another track pieces are placed on top of each other. The peeps still sound like molsested gerbils instead of thrilled riders.
Is it actually certain that the Steam Workshop will be back or are they just making their own because of the console? That would be very negative for us PC gamers, far too confusing and uncomfortable...
I don't see how having a unified in house workshop would be confusing. It definitely wasn't confusing at all on consoles, so I don't see why it would be on PC.
The guests sound horrible on the coasters. Its the same annoying "woahhh uhuuuu" Why not using a similiar sound from rct? The screams are iconic. I really miss the screams from guests on coasters
If anything, 2 is 10 years better. You don't notice it in videos. People also said planet zoo doesn't look any better. Just wait until it's finished and real creators have build something. You also still have images highly edited with reshade etc in your head. Planco 1 screenshots are crazy improved due to editing afterwards
I’m still impressed that frontier made the game and then is terrible at making coasters lol. The only one that would be remotely usable imo was the wild mouse.
The shaping still isn’t the best I hope they fix the fact that smoothing removes heartlining and add an option to disable lead in and lead out to have better transitions that’s all they really need but fvd++ compatibility would be nice
@@RudiRennkamel Did you see an option to turn off TAA/TXAA? I can’t stand that type of anti-aliasing it makes bushes and objects leave ghosts across the screen. You can see this in everyone’s gameplay. Once you see it (go back and look closely to peoples gameplay) you can’t unsee it
You do realise it's just an early alpha build? Everyone is acting like this is the final product, when in reality it's nowhere near. This build is likely months old.
To be very clear. The graphics are MILES better. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to turn off blur until the end (some of the POVs are without tho) If you actually play the game you will notice. Lighting, Antialiasing, Sharpness. People still confuse style with graphic

The mid course break runs sound amazing
compared to PC1, the game looks to be optimized way better and doesnt seem to stutter and/or be capped at a certain frame rate

How many guests fit into the spinning mouse coaster? Is it 4, same as PC1? In PC1, guest groups of 5+ would not queue up for this coaster.

You can tell the smoothing tool was used, but frontier has improved it and made it more efficient

Looks really smooth but that depth of field effect is soooo bad, i hope we can turn it off because it literally looks like I forgot to wear my glasses

How much smoothing did you do for these?
They’re the frontier presets, so probably 1 or 2 runs. At least they used banking offset this time. (They still suck)

There’s a motion blur option, you can toggle it off in the settings.
It's called motion blur, many games have it and it's almost always a feature you can turn off.

Lol! Even the wild mouse is bad. The curves should lower the track, not the straight piece after the curve

I think you will be able to turn the Blur off in the settings
