メキシコ人の船員さん達を御宿の人々が助けた当時、御宿は大多喜藩内でした。大多喜藩の城主は本多忠朝。名将本多忠勝の次男でした。長年戦ってきた武将ですが、座礁した船の船員さん達の救助を最優先にしました。そのエピソードは今でも日本の誇りと思います。
本当に面白いそうだ。景色が美しい。いつかぜひそこに行ってみたいと思う。
