But I feel that after MK4, we got the new games, and then Warner Bros came in, the story turned too film scores and felt like cartoony with fatalities that, although were awesome didnt feel natural because of cartoony animation / art direction. But I still love the new MK games, it's the future now and we should support it. I just feel MK4 had that serious dark sinister grudge atmosphere, particularly with Quan Chi and the sound effects.
