  • Just a topic I find fascinating, and my perspective which I feel is unique enough to be of interest to some people. This one is very rambling, but it is a huge topic and I can only discuss it briefly in a video. If you have questions or want to discuss leave a comment.

Hi Loren, I know you don't feel the quality of your videos isn't high enough so you choose not to make many. Don't worry about the quality of production, what you have to say is what matters.. hope to see more from you... I wish I bought bitcoin back when you made your video seven years ago.. I would be interested in what you have to say about bitcoin today Vs metals and how bitcoin has gone up so much more than metals recently

Lorax this was a great video it cracked me up to hear you mention the Beaker folk - there’s an excellent U.K. comedian called Stewart Lee who does a whole bit on the beaker folk… it’s a comment on how some (xénophobes) in the U.K. say that other countries should keep their brightest and best …check it out it’s smart and funny

Totally fascinating. One other point about how cultures evolve is simply being able to travel and share ideas (and microbes). The cultures that were isolated by large mountain ranges or oceans, or inhospitable territory tended not to progress because they didn't have the opportunity to exchange ideas. This is covered indirectly in the points you make. Although the British didn't intermarry as much as the Iberian empires (they actually did intermarry in India, the Caribbean and other countries, but not so much in later Victorian times) they did share a lot of cultural ideas - Indian food, language and religion made a huge impact on British society. When the European missionaries went to places that had been isolated from other cultures, like the Pacific Islands, the Islanders died in huge numbers from diseases brought by Europeans, that they had no resistance to.

Hi Lorax. Sometimes I think you're me in an alternate life 😂 jokes aside, I found your channel right before you started uploading again and I've been researching this subject, specifically as it relates to the Mongols, Huns, Turks, etc., for the past several months. I don't think I've ever disagreed with anything you've said in any of your videos. I hope you keep uploading.

How does the Persian Empire and the Caucus Mountains tie into this?

Europeans may have also conquered by disease.
For instance, resistance to zoonotic disease, from close contact with domesticated animals.

What about the oldest wine making facility found in Armenia 6000 years ago. Trust me drinking is our blood, before Belbeker. I am about to have a drink made of mulberries 57% alcohol to wake up.
