I used a down comforter as a homeless person...kept me warm to 17 below! Yeah, was also wearing a coat, tho. Glad my apartment stays at least 64F so I don't have to worry about any thick stuff for my bed. I love those $12 Ross velvety poly blankets...always just warm enough, and can fit 2 at a time in a washer in double bed size. They come out of the machine almost dry. I will splurge and buy some 2 for $5 velvet throw pillow covers, tho. Mine are mostly off white n beige, but I like to add a bit of seasonal color.
I used to have a goose down pillow, it was pure luxury. While watching some home improvement show they were saying that it’s time to replace your pillow if you can fold it in half, well not only could I fold it in half, I could fold it in fourths, then eights, then I realized that my pillow was basically a pancake, and I tossed it out. Now I’m sorry I didn’t try to launder it, it might have worked or it could have been a real disaster, but if I was going to toss it away then what would it matter? I haven’t found a pillow to compare since.
Some adult acne tips
Change your pillow case everyday. (Preferably use silk as it’s has natural antibacterial properties)
Consider after cleansing using a wonder clothe type wash cloth with just water to remove any residual. Then pat dry
(Double cleansing recommended as too harsh on already compromised skin barrier)
Consider blue light therapy for acne and red light for healing.

Also try using The Ordinary 11% glycolic acid. It’s an awesome toner. My skins has never been so even and acne free.

10:13 I’ve had my Caraway set for about 2 years now. I use them heavily and they still look great both inside and outside. Very easy to clean and safe.

The fact that towel warmers are totally standard in the UK and most of Europe 😢😢 it’s so hard to go back to non warm towels
ps. Some people love snail mucin and some people can be allergic (like most ingredients tbh) so patch test!
Feather beds are a long European tradition which is so much more relevant than the idea of it coming from a hotel. Nobody wants to look like a hotel! 😱

@lexid6891 A luxury hotel is often devoid of personality, very cold, lacking color and too much the same. Maybe what you really crave is a clean, orderly space that makes you feel in control of your life.
I bought the shorter version of the towel warmer last year, but now knowing I can warm not only my towel but my robe and slippers 🥿, I might have to get the tall version.

Those Clean Skin Cloths! The best and l use them for hand towel too. Then recycle to wipe the counter, floor then trash it 😊

Alright, you got me with the cookie sheet liners....and they were on big sale! We're trying to cut down on using aluminum foil & I'm stoked to try these out.

I have the cookie sheet liners and I love, love, love them! Completely worth it. I just ordered the snail thingy for the face. Yuck! I have been seeing it everywhere but the idea of putting snail yuck in my face is not very tempting... anyway... I finally gave in and ordered it. Wish me luck! LOL!

I love the silicone mats. They're wonderful. Snail mucin does work very nice. I find that niacinamide helps a lot for my menopause acne, along with the Mighty Patch. Another item that helped is hypochlorous acid like Hypo Cleanse. It's wonderful and keeps the bacteria away. You can use it as sanitizer too to clean. It's excellent.
Girl when did you update your bed? That’s the same bed I have. I love it. Have had it since Jan 2021 but next spring I plan on doing a really deep fabric clean.

I LOVE my towel warmer!!! It is certainly something I didn’t know I needed, but I am so happy I have it now. It looks as though the feather bed is not available in Queen so I will keep an eye out for my size, unless there is another you recommend. As always thanks for all the very best suggestions ❤

I actually have that gray in the travertine! I do have marble trays and the famous fluted bowl. This time, I was specifically looking for Autumn decor and this shade of travertine is beautiful and soft and one of those “natural tones that go with every color pallet. I adore it!

Ahhh good to know! My husband (the chef in the fam) has literally worn out the large Caraway pan-on the outside that is, but inside it’s still going strong.
Long story short I’m so happy to find that we can replace a single pan without buying the set! I’m going to surprise him with a new large pan. It’s going to make his day ☺️

I love the snail mucin! It works great. Those face cloths are great for the skin. All the derms recommend them (along with Tretinoin cream, sunscreen, vitamin c oil) my skin became so much better when i stopped using washcloths, harsh face washes, and salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide - my skin hated these products.
Is there a difference between paper towels and the clean skin towels? Do I need to make a switch???
Is there an alternative to the feather/down? This is an absolute no-no for those of us with asthma and allergies!!!
Not to be that girl or person but I too struggle with acne and if I may without overstepping suggest retinol. I have hormonal acne and that can be a tough battle. I went to a dermatologist and got prescription strength Trentnoin - I spelled that wrong and it really helped a lot. I am now on Tazarac. I also use Glossier Aha/BHA/pha and I get monthly facials at Hand and Stone the dermal infusion brightening. Sorry for being extra not my intention I just wanted to share because the skin struggle is real. We gotta share ideas with others on the journey. I also enjoyed the video.

Do you "need" a full size, No! But if you want a full to give you that "Extra look", then purchase one. 😊

In so many parts of life, compromise is necessary. What, do you make one packed lunch, travel across the city and share it?? Do you take turns with one fork at dinner?
Give each person their ideal size, weight, texture, filler for a blanket. They say the bedroom is for 2 things only: sleep, and the other thing 😉. Do both of those things to the fullest xx

Yes! A duvet cover is a cover for a comforter or duvet insert!

A duvet is basically the same thing as a comforter, and a duvet cover is to a duvet as a pillowcase is to a pillow.

In my experience a comforter already has a design or color to it and a duvet is white, then you use a duvet cover to add color or design. The duvet cover also protects the duvet so you don't need to wash the duvet itself as often and comforters are typically protected by using a top sheet
