    I have 1000s of little ones growing under trees on the property i manage what would they be growing from

      @reesebaird lucky you! There must be a fruiting tree somewhere close and the birds will distribute the seeds

      Howdy, I bought the trays and pots years ago and re-use them after washing and sterilizing them. I think I got them from Daltons. The pots are Desch 90x90x100. The trays are TRS349X

    Great info! Have you continued to do this? And if so what sort of strike rate have you had? And do you normally do this in Winter or Summer?

      I have a pretty good strike rate , around 75-85%. I have a pretty sheltered site so take cuttings most of the year, Autumn being preferable so that watering isn't such an issue. I think I have some that require putting into pots, it's been a while since I checked, ( I've had a rough year)

      I don't but there is a NZ Bonzai Association that shows some excellent examples of NZ Native trees as bonzai
