DESCRIPTION: Do all paths lead to the same destination at the end? Is Jesus merely one way? Sean briefly addresses these questions with practical examples and spiritual insights.
Objective truth corresponds to the world as it actually is in Reality. That means it's true for everyone everywhere regardless how you think or feel. Jesus made an objective truth claim. "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me."
My opinion can't change whether that's true or not. It either is or is not. I believe it is because he was raised and proved himself to be who he said he was.
Because this was an event in a real place in history, we can investigate and know if it's true or not objectively.

In math when there is more than one solution to a problem it said to be non-linear. Typically there will be a real solution and a imaginary solution. Maybe spiritual belief systems are analogous. Believing that Christ is the Son of God with the power to save those that believe on Him is the only real true answer and all other beliefs are imaginary answers.

I used to misunderstand what people meant by the idiom "all roads lead to ..." and was therefore confused when I heard them reject the claim of all roads leading to God. I previously thought that "all roads lead to x" meant "following the truth leads to x, regardless of what truths you encounter and in what order", so I would wonder, "how does following the truth *not* lead to God? What an odd thing to say." So, all that is to say that when pastors or other Christians reject the "all roads lead to God" claim, I wish they would explicitly state that "roads" corresponds to "religions" in the idiom.
Why do Christians have to put down other religions and beliefs all the time ?

@@SeanMcDowell absolutely wrong! And, in many cases, offensively so. Though, I realize no harm is intended. It's a weird vicious cycle based upon ignorance of reality, based upon Christianity's outdated dualistic concept of existence. God is not a judge. God simply is existence. We are in "God."

A very bious way to say that only Christianity is the correct religion religion. Two religions that spread by the edge of sword ⚔️ are Cristainity and Islam. Hence these two are not great. The great religions are those whose were never spread by force . Those are Sanatan Dharma , Buddhism , Jainism , Sikkism , Judaism , Zoroastrianism , and other tribal religions. These religions were subjected to heavy persecution from Christianity and Islam and yet have been able to save their indetities . The greatness is not convert people , the greatness to retain your enthic identity desipite been subjected to immense persecution. All paths can lead to the same God if persued honestly . However not all paths are equally the same. As different routes take different times to reach the same destination , similarly though all routes lead to the same God , the time taken for for each one of is not the same. Never fear questioning what seems wrong to you.

Only through Christ all are forgiven. All who are "saved" in this world are the Church.

Depends on your definition of "god"... Abrahamic religions have one God, while some Eastern religions speak of a Oneness/nondualism (Primal Consciousness) as being "God." Most Hindus do NOT literally believe in millions of gods... Hindus ultimately believe in one "god" called Brahman, which means 'the vast." Brahman has no attributes, so gods are utilized as symbols to represent the Ineffable Brahman. Specifically, in Advaita Vedanta (ancient Nondualistic Hinduism), Primal Consciousness is ALL that exists. We are merely the ego masks that God wears to play out the dreamscape of existence. Matter and things and people are not stand alone things, but all is actually IN that One Consciousness. So, my point is that "God" has no singular definition. Now, if u wanna say the only way to the Christian God is through Christianity, then I'd agree. However, that is not the only interpretation of a God; not by a Longshot!
