I dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Deshawn Elisha thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING tutorial. One of the VERY BEST teachers too as many DO have fantastic skills, years of experience and wisdom, but so few can actually teach the average "Joe Soap". I will definitely be sending all my creative friends to check out and subscribe to this channel.
Good tutorial simple to follow step by step when you may not totally understand all the elements used, though would be good if you also said the menus rather than short cut keys as not all of us use those. I use the iPad app! 😊
Once you convert the original black and white design (or text) into a Smart Object, you can simply double-click on the thumbnail of the Smart Object in the Layers panel, to open it back up to its original source. Add a new design above it in the Layers panel and hide the original design under it. Then, close the tab of the ".psb" document, which is the source of the Smart Object. Photoshop automatically updates your image showing your new design with all the effects.
@@BLTV_Photoshop wow thank you! I’m going to try that now before I have to go out for an appointment. I’ve donated to other presenters via Venmo, etc, do you have any sort of link for occasional donations without using Patreon? All of you guys are such a awesome help! And available 24 hours a day LOL
Fantastic! Is there a formula to calculate how to increase or decrease the effect settings for different project sizes and resolutions? Or just trial and experimentation?
SInce each background has its own characteristics of brightness, contrast and color saturation, the setting amounts would need to be adjusted accordingly.
This was so much fun! Thank you thank you. Is there a way to save the style to use in the future without going through all of the same steps?? I know in adobe illustrator you can save a style… Thank you again
@BLTV_Photoshop that's alright, I figured I would just ask cause I've heard it works like Photoshop, but I can't figure out the leather embossed effect on Photopea 🤦🏻♀️
Tried to use this but do the same in affinity hoot but settings are totally different! Pity. Can you do the same tutorial but for affinity photo instead? 😊😊😊
@@BLTV_Photoshop ah well was worth asking! I had to switch when photoshop started subscription service on their app, yet I’ve been photoshop for YEARS now I’ve to use affinity as it was affordable lol!!!!
Ah well was worth a try! I used only photoshop for decades and that’s what’s on my windows 7 laptop! I had to switch when photoshop started charging a subscription price for their iPad Pro app - too many are doing this pricing us little people out! Affinity was the only affordable alternative! I’ve had a go but not as good as yours as a lot of the techniques are a little different in affinity or named different 😊😊
When you double-click on the thumbnail of either of the Smart Objects, it opens its source. When you replace the source with another logo and then close its tab at the top (.psb), Photoshop updates your image with the new logo.
Pathetic. Not one of you to commentators thanked Marty or uploading his video tutorial - you both wanted to be the sad bastard first comment guys. Grow the hell up. Idiots.

If it's missing, go to Edit - Toolbar. If you see it on the right side of the Toolbar panel, drag it onto the left side just above or below the Paint Bucket Tool.
I tried doing this for text and it did not work. I followed every step in this video, and it looks really bad. It was a white glow around it, nothing like what it shows in this video.

I’m lost on how to replace my design with a different design… I will watch it again tomorrow and try to figure this out!

Just trial & experimentation.
Could you use this on any texture? Or is there different settings for different kinds of backgrounds?
SInce each background has its own characteristics of brightness, contrast and color saturation, the setting amounts would need to be adjusted accordingly.
thanks for the great tutorial. but the last one cannot be apply, I don't know why..
This was so much fun! Thank you thank you. Is there a way to save the style to use in the future without going through all of the same steps?? I know in adobe illustrator you can save a style… Thank you again
Yes. In the beginning, once you save your design as a Smart Object, you can replace it with a different design without having to redo the effects.
@@BLTV_Photoshop Wow, I remember seeing that, I will revisit it. Thank you!!! Love the embossed Leather!!!
You are awesome! But you know that already
Can you use Photopea for this demonstration? I am trying to learn but I don't have Photoshop

Only if the photo is high contrast like clip art. Check out: ruclips.net/video/h6IfaHHgA1k/видео.html

how did you come up such an idea?
I saw an actual leather-stamped image and thought it would be fun to try to replicate the effect in PS.
at end of video you leave us with two smart object copys so it a real pain to replace logos with new logos did i miss a step?
When you double-click on the thumbnail of either of the Smart Objects, it opens its source. When you replace the source with another logo and then close its tab at the top (.psb), Photoshop updates your image with the new logo.
Why is nothing showing after adding all the layer styles while having the layer opacity 0%? Pls help asap
The opacity is 0%; the Fill is 100%
Almost first 🤪

It could be due to one of many reasons. One would have to inspect your PSD file to determine the cause.
🤗🌹
Too complicated. No patient to learn this one. Need AI to do for me.
do a tutorial with the 2021 update
