So let me say this. I was playing at the table with a guy this past Sunday. He was playing $10,000 A HAND. NO BONUS, NO ACE. I asked why he never played bonus. He said “after doing the math I learned you lose more time than not on the bonus. Take that money and put it on the hand. You will win more that way. I sat and watch this guy win $130,000. I stopped playing bonus.
And payout on bonuses are so small that its not even worth risking that bet. You almost lose those bonus bets every hand. But i would hate to get a good hand and not bet it.

I was the same way when the house collected commission on every win, but now that it's open face no commission I always tip the dealer.

Well here in Florida in the dogtrack rooms.. They have face up Pia Gow but what is different they offer a Pia Gow loss bonus.. If you bet say 5$ chip on it.. Ace High Pia Gow by your hand is 2-1/ King high is 4-1/ Queen high is 10 -1 Jack high is 20-1 and Ten high Pia Gow on your hand with a 5$ bet is 50 -1!! NOW A 9 HIGH PIA GOW if you get in your hand with a 5$ bet on it is 150-1!! OH YEAH!! Hit that once. MADE BANK!!

I like the original version (commission) better. You get paid for all Dealer pai gows, and you can be the banker with takes away the houses advantage.

What about the people that open them suuuper slowly in their hands, like bending the cards eeeever so slowly to barely see the corners. 3 minutes later they open the whole hand and figure out what they got

When does the envy bonus payout?
It pays the other players at the table when you hit a specific side bet hand.
Victor you should always play the Ace high because you can technically play it for free. If your regular bet is $50 then make it $60 and put $10 on the Ace high so if you win the hand or push you got your $10 back. Repeat the $10 - $10 each hand or whatever amount you bet on the Ace high.
You're still going to lose more money much got to win on that. It doesn't make sense to play the side bets mathematically. Just put the extra money on the hand
