Reminds me of Robert S. Kerr Dam outside Sallisaw, OK. We had two stringers about 5' long of white bass, might of been called sandbass. But while there, there were others using balloons on their rig. This one fellow caught a huge cat. If I recall it was about 86 #'s. That's a pretty cat you have.

Those are some nice fish. I'd like to go over there but don't think I could make it across those rocks. Not as spry as I used to be. Years ago we would take our daughter to the park across the river from there. If that is where I think it is, and they had three little ponds with a bridge going across. Thought I'd throw in some bread to feed the bream you could see swimming in there and huge catfish came up and ate the bread. Surprised the heck out of me to see so many big catts in the small ponds.
Well I hope Jay, Si and Summer are doing well we haven't seen them in awhile and miss them. Send them our love. Keep making great videos.

Thanks Cole for the advice on freezing shad I didn't know I knew you would if anyone did. I fish the Tennessee River and tributaries and have caught blue catfish weighing up to 65 pounds. I know how it gives you out. I really appreciate the information and advice you give on fishing. I have been using it and finally catching crappie which I never had before. Thanks. Great video once again 😂😂😂😂. I live in Maryland, Conawingo Dam is good for blue catfish. It seems in order to get a good spot, you have to get out there very EARLY!!!

Great day on the water Cole, that place has been pretty productive for ya and with some pretty dang good quality fish! That's some good catching and good eating! I've never seen you throw any fish on a smoker and im pretty sure you've got a Traeger. Try soaking some cat fillets and/or Trout fillets in a Salt brine and throw em on the smoker. Maybe y'all dont care for smoked foods , but if you've never tried it, most fish is pretty tasty on the smoker. Just takes a little time learning correct salt brine mixtures, smoke times and which woods for what foods. It does take a little dedication of time unless you got a auto smoker.

Catfish Dave just discovered that EEL as a bait was irresistible to catfish in a lake recently, and it stays on the line even after 5 big catfish were landed on the same piece.
We need to get some eels!

OIC you had to go back to the spillway again. Did you notice how much better spillway fish taste? 40 pounders still taste good in those waters. Don't be afraid to try it.
Spillway fish are good everywhere! Love eating those blues! I’d keep a big one but I hate lugging them out of there. I need to get a wagon
@@COLE_and_JAY The Kerr Dam spillway is much easier to navigate than the one you're fishing. However, I'm too old and weak to pull in those 40 pounders so I am very blessed to have a big strong young neighbor who finds hooking river monsters therapeutic.
