It does 4:3 leaving the image stretched in the center of the screen. If you stream or record stuff, use Streamlabs OBS to fill the entire screen by stretching the image but even that is a hit or a miss as the screen ratio will change from game to game. The HDMI adapter is okay but I'm already looking for another alternative. It still gets the job done but I hate the squealing sound it leaves behind due to the device itself on stretching the screen.

Does this device let your PS2 play your PS1 games on it using HDMI?
If you can play your PS1 games on your PS2 then yes it will! I had no problems in doing such a thing before my PS2's disc reader went out lol.

Does this work on a chipped ps1 console? I don't really use my ps2 slim as most of my games are fake and won't work on the ps2 lol.
