I show you where the fuse box locations are for your BMW E65 E66. Location number one is in the back of your glove box and location number two is in the trunk passenger side. Where you see the chart diagrams in the video, is where they should be.

I got an unrelated question, I got a right light error a couple days ago, it turned out be a bulb, thank god, but now I have a hell of a time trying to put the bulbs back in, I can't get it to work no matter what, there was an aluminum plug that came out first then the bulb, but I can't put it back together no matter what. I have huge hands and its very difficult, you have any tips? or any videos?

Ed McMaster That is the fiber optic bus. The plastic piece there detatches from the cable to test the entertainment system. When attached it just closes the fiber optic loop.

I purchased my first ever 2007 BMW 750li last week at an auction. I am slowly learning. I was checking fuses today and to my surprise there was at least 13 fuses missing. I replaced them all. Why would these fuses be taken out? And my radio system is not working and no sound. Could it be related to missing fuses or the fiber optics wiring? Any info is appreciated.
Amplifier in the front and in the trunk are known to go out. I got mine upgraded by Bavtek they specialize in these car’s amplifiers

Kurii Hello, I would replace them with the exact same color coding, also yes their are empty fuse slots, and I think a couple of spares but don't take any out or your car might go hay wire, unless you know which are which.

+David Fisher Hello David, try that fuse grabber as seen in the video to the right it's red, but honestly I just use very carefully needle nose plyers.

In the glove box there is a plastic tool, it looks like a magnifying glass minus the glass, it has two wires attached to it.... ?

It's the optical loop for the MOST bus. A fiber optic communication channel for the audio/video system.
It is an access point for diagnostic and reprogramming of certain modules
Why do you have so many missing fuses? Are they unnecessary for this model?

Hello, just use the red fuse removers that are located in the back fuse box area as shown in the video, or get some needle nose pliers and carefully remove the fuse the same way I show for the back location, the only difference from the front is that it's a little bit smaller hand room to get to.
