Thanks for tuning in guys, it was really fun to do this. many have asked me what the Chord Chemistry secret is. The Chord Chemistry tip is that the first many chapters are a "chord dictionary " and can be very overwhelming to look at and most folks might not look at the chapters later in the book that have lots of great info about what to do with those chord shapes, be sure to look closely at the later chapters!
Thanks for answering the question you alluded to but wasn't asked. Thanks for the video fellas. Great info, great playing and the tele has a sweet tone. Now I'm going to grab my old Ted Greene books!
Timothy Lerch I came here hoping you would address this. Thank you for sharing. I’ve always been so intimidated by the countless chord diagrams that I never made it to the end. I’m gonna break it out tonight and go to those later chapters. Thank you.
I have become a cult follower, joe pass is my favourite pass time music and tim has that feel that I absolutely am in love with! He also has the most amazing way of teaching you without giving all these silly scales to study. Colour the chord and make melodic ideas 💡 it is so beautiful
Tim Lerch is one of the greatest guitarists AND educators around. Plus, a very nice person. I am eager to see this out (and even more eager to have one more Skype lesson from him)
I’ve been a huge Tim Lerch fan for many years now on his RUclips channel. I happened upon his channel while watching Ted Greene videos and was absolutely wowed with his talent, feel, and approach to playing guitar. For me, Tim is the most skilled player and teacher I’ve heard since Ted Greene. That’s the highest compliment I can possibly give. He’s an absolute monster player with an incredible love of music. Just watch him for awhile and you’ll see exactly what I mean.
Mr. Lerch you are the second perking of my ear with this style. A sure sign that I should start study in this area. Also you have worked with an individual that has been a big inspiration in my life, Lee Oscar. Thank You.
Tim is great !! I have been watching his RUclips for years. He is a great player and a great teacher. Not all great players are great teachers. He is able to succinctly explain what he is doing.
I first came across Tim about four years ago and I thought "I can't believe how f%#$ing good this guy is." After four years, I'm realizing he's even better than I thought! This guy is a consummate MUSICIAN!
Tim, why are you doing a masterclass when it's 12PM in your home state :( I can count on one hand the teachers that had kindness, craft, and an eye for detail. Tenants of a true teacher. Having met and taken some lessons with Tim in person, I'd count him on that hand.
What a unique telecaster telecaster has 2 strat style pick ups its usualy called a nashville tele. So if a tele has two charlie christian pick ups is that an oaklahoma tele? And funny, my grandmother Rip⁷⁷, she adored sinatra
My fist time in TrueFire, I just bought it (it said instant download) I have no idea how to access this course as it does not appears in "My courses tab"... someone experienced something similar? Very poor information once you buy something in TrueFire..
It's a pre-order. That means they've shot the video but it's still got to be edited, notated & tabbed etc. and may be a couple of months before it's ready to download. You get the discount for pre-ordering.
@@johnmac8084 Thanks for answering. I understand that but is there is any release date? When pre order it I´ve got a message saying "instant download" so really got confused. First time user here and I feel I´ve been poorly informed of what´s next.

I bought this course on TF. Well worth the money, it opens your views on guitar, harmony, possibilities...
This is a beautiful player and teacher, AWESOME to see see him on here with a full lesson.
The greatest chord master and artist/educator of the instrument. What a treasure and treat.
Tim is not just a guitar player, he is an exceptional storyteller. Beautiful!
I am over the moon excited for this, Tim is a continued source of inspiration. His playing, tone, and calm demeanor just make me want to play.
He mentioned he has a secret for chord chemistry but they moved on before he mentioned it 😭😭😭

Beautiful music.
That guitar looks like a fender telecaster with nice fat frets!
Trying out jazz on such a guitar is a good idea!
Suggested Tim Lerch to True Fire a while ago. Now I really feel like they’re listening to their customers, LOL.
This is super exciting. Super quality player/person, quality platform. Respect.
Tim is top notch!

I like the neighborhood dope lines and keep it simple people!!!
This is a champion.
Reminds me of Ted Greene. What a guitar player Tim Lerch is.
Tim was Teds student. Jesus coming soon. Repent and be born again in Jesus name. God bless you
@@HarryBarry97 Thanks?
Hi from Durban South Africa. Bummed I couldn't make your Johannesburg show.
Sooo smooth ❤
Hello from Allentown, PA.
Great musician
Release Date March 9th !!!
Tim Lerch - my favorite utub guitar teacher.
Hint to Truefire: if you hate talking over somebody's playing...uh... don't do it.
Very interesting, thank you.
Great stuff! Approximately when will Tim’s new course be available from TrueFire? Thanks!
When will Tim’s Truefire course be released? Thanks!
Venezuela too ....
thanks
Great video!
Maybe Tim can honor Ed Bickert by playing a bit of his block chord style.
James Hare not really Ed’s style but here is my tribute to the master ruclips.net/video/HdN-QDduAxI/видео.html
The next Course should be " TIM´S JAZZED UP BLUES"
Gabriel Fernandez we shot it a few weeks ago and it will be out in a few months, thanks for watching.

Thats how you play guitar
Wow
Send me that tele to clean the fretboard properly ;)
The funk is where the tone is.
It's not dirty. It's called usage. Worn from playing and practicing!
Ps. Tim knows how to take care of his own guitars.
