Korean Air A330-200 and B777-300 SFO-MNL + 16 hour layover + hotel quarantine || travel during covid

Hi guys! Sharing with you my travel experience during this pandemic from SFO to ICN A330-200, 16 hour layover in ICN International Airport, ICN to MNL B777-300 and my hotel quarantine.
I had to show Traze QR code and Red Cross QR code before they can provide the plane ticket to me.
They did a temperature check before boarding on SFO-ICN flight and they were strict in implementing 1 seat apart except for families. Plane was pretty spacious.
On the other hand, the flight from ICN to MNL didn’t practice 1 seat apart and didn’t perform any temperature check before boarding. Hence, during meal time, I did not eat the food so I don’t have to remove my mask. I ate the food when I arrived at the hotel.
I stayed in Jinjiang Inn Ortigas. I booked the airport transfer from the hotel so I won’t need to worry about the transportation. Food is so-so but I like how careful they were during meal time. They leave the food on the foldable table outside. 🙂
I got my results less than 12 hours then forwarded the results to the concierge. They will be the one to request for the certificate of release from BOQ. It took about 6 hours.
Let’s not forget the 16 hour layover in ICN Intl airport. Fret not, as you can see it was pretty empty. They follow protocols and gave away sanitation kit. 🙂
